How can I get more on-line votes?
I was wondering if anyone has ideas of how I can get more people to vote for me on-line. My wife and I are on The Dream Season tv show, which is on The Outdoor Channel. The winner is selected by public vote. We are Team Wisconsin and are considered the underdogs. I would love to find a way for the underdogs to come out ahead !

My friend and I have had this heated debate whether hunting and fishing are sports, he says for something to be considered a sport it has to aquire athleticism, and he says if you cant say i play______ then its not a sport such as i play baseball.

i received a 1911 pistol for father day. a copy of the military version, no beaver tail etc. when it ejects a round, i find a flat spot on the brass. almost like the barrel is higher than the magazine/ any ideas how to correct the situation, or you may e-mail me direct to my name plus yahoo.com.

He has a fishing pole, in fact, he just bought it but its not fantastic. I bought him a couple books last year, which he loves but I don't want to duplicate that idea. He has a few lures, a small box to keep them in but thats about it. He has only gone freshwater fishing so far. Any avid fisherman out there who may have an idea of something special I could get him that he would find useful? My price range is around $50.00-$125.00. We have a big Gander Mountain store and Bass store nearby but I have no idea what to get him.

I have a mossberg 500 shotgun. It has a fully rifled barrel. I know Im suposed to use sabot slugs, but The cheapest I cound find was five shells for $10.00. "not cheap"

When I go to the range it gets preety expensive.
Im looking at about $2.00 every time I fire my gun "not very fun".
I was told that using slugs is bad for the barrel.
Is there "any" other alternative to using sabot shells? Somthing that wont screw up my barrel.

I got it when he passed away and it's about 8-10 feet long and the line is thicker than normal and my grandmother told me he used it for surf fishing, but i really don't know anything about and it in interested me, and i am going to the beach in a few days and I wanted to know if I could use it while there w/o having to use a boat

but here's what i can remember of it looking like
It's open reel
about 8-10 feet long
the handle/hilt of it is about 1-1.5 feet long

I really don't know what to do with it, let alone how to surf fish

if anyone can help or knows of a good site that cna give me hints/tips or any kind of help, I would be grateful

personally I don't believe there is such a thing
you can never kill something too much

Am I saying you should use a 50 BMG for squirl hunting no but if you do I don't really care and no one else should care either your not a very efficent hunter if you do but its a humane kill

lets face it if someone was using a 458 Lot for deer hunting most people would say that it is overkill but so what if someone wants to use a 458 Lot for deer hunting nobody should give him/her any greif if someone walks into a store and asks what should I use for deer hunting someone should say "you might want to look into a 308 30-06 or 25-06 sir you probably don't need a 338"

I'm just saying nobody should get mad at anybody for using a larger than proficent cal.
