Some gun manufactures do recommend you avoid using full choke with slugs, to avoid possible damage to weapon.
Why take a chance of damaging your weapon if you can avoid it.

Plus stop to consider you don’t wont to constricts a slug ( hollow or not ) that could well affect accuracy and range.
I would always try to avoid using full choke, I have one shot gun that it’s full choke is tighter them most extra full Turkey chokes and it‘s about 30 years old.
Every gun is different, but I would play it safe if I had the option.
I would test the weapon with modified and with cylinder to see what it likes.

A rifled slug is made for a smooth bore shotgun and it is best to use a IC choke . A sabot slug is made for a rifled barrel and should not be shot out of a smooth bore shotgun. The sabot slug will not damage your gun but you will not be able to shot it accurate because there is no rifling . The best thing to do with a smooth bore shotgun is to get a few different kinds of rifled slugs and go to the range and see witch one shoot best out of your shotgun and then practice . I get a good grope from my Remington wingmaster with Remington rifled slugs at 50 yards .

Most rifled slugs are hollow and can be shot through any choke. Be advised that shooting a slug through full choke settings swages the slug down to the size of the choke which elongates the slug and will increase the chamber pressure. The extra kick is not worth the extra bullet length, because little yardage is gained on a shotgun slug.
Modified would be best and I think it is recommended by gunmakers. It will also save wear and tear on you and your gun.

Yes. If the choke doesnt have a slug setting use Improved cylinder. Full choke could blow the end of the barrel up or the choke off.

you sure can. actually you'd probably want your choke set to cylinder bore if you can. you don't want to use the mod or full choke setting. rifled slugs are meant to be shot out of a smooth open bore. sabot slugs are meant to be shot out of a rifled barrel or at least a rifled choke tube.
