Clarity, brightness, contrast and adjustment. Im thinking of getting a 2.5-10 power 50mm objective and it has a 30mm tube with side focus PA knob. Your answer does not need to be on this type of model but would like comments on Nikon only.

I am pretty familiar on how to use other types of plugs such as poppers or spoons but i was told that the bucktail is very unique in that it can it travels much differently from other types of plugs. Is there a certain way to use bucktails vs. any other type of plug?

Every time I go fishing I end up dropping my reel in the salt water somehow, and rendering it useless. Does anyone else that is familiar with inshore fishing know of a good light reel I can buy for around $100 that will last me more than a couple trips? Do I really need to spend $300 or more to get a good quality reel? I sure hope not.

I'm looking to get a highly accurate rifle that I can purchase for less than an arm and a leg. Around $500 would about top it out. Anything with cheap ammo is a plus. I would like to have the capability to hit point targets at about 800 - 1500 yards. It can be semi automatic or manually operated. Any suggestions possibly with links on specs and prices are a huge plus. Thanks!

My friend lives in a wooded neighberhood were there are a lot of deer. She walks and jogs a lot in the evening when there are a lot of deer out and around. Her friends told her that the male deer are attracted to the smell of women and can attack. So she is afraid of them. I don't believe this but was just curious.

It is super fun, and it tastes good too, so what's wrong with it? I go hunting every year for squirrel, deer, turkey, bear, fox, pheasant, coyote, and quail. I think it is one of the best things to do outdoors.

What's the best place to go tent camping in NC? We live in Charlotte, and we don't want to go too far....about two hours away or less. We will be in a tent and want to go someplace where there are things to do and interesting sites to see. (fishing, waterfalls, outlooks, hiking, good food, showers)
We are going the last weekend of August, if that helps....in case there are any special events/festivals going on anywhere that would be near a good campground and worthy of attending.

Basically, we're looking for a fun, intimate, romantic, relaxing weekend in a safe, beautiful area.

If you have any suggestions please let me know! :)

I am new to fullbore shooting - I have just joined Bisley NRA and obtained my FFL.

I am now looking to shoot a couple of obsolete caliber arms I have collected over the years.

I have heard some very good and some very bad words about firing the Lebel rifle (made in 1890, 8mm Lebel caliber)

Does anyone have any knowledge of these? Why are they so bad? I know they have 10 rnd tubular magazines which would be a bad idea to use, but would I experience any problems with single shots?

Was talking with someone the other day and this was mentioned. I seem to remember catching a few decent black drum on live shrimp once upon a time, and not that I'm in complete disagreement with the person who told me this, but it does kinda strike me as odd. Anyway, just seeing if it's common knowledge and I'm just out of the loop.
