If it is hot outside ,dress accordingly and dont forget your bug spray .You dont have to look like a fisherman to go fishing .Street clothes are OK .

Well, it depends on whether you are fishing or going for people to look at you. I am a competitive fisher"woman" and while I do like to look good, I also like to be taken seriously. If you are going for big fish (salmon, steelhead, etc...) I like to do the whole fishing package...neoprene's, boots, vest, hat, sun glasses, and bait box. If it's more for smaller fish like trout, bass, crappie, wear whatever makes you comfortable. For those I will fish in shorts and a tank top or t-shirt. I wouldn't go too over board. Prepare to get dirty with roe, worms, fish slime, etc... Those manicured nails won't matter, and besides, some guys think it's hot :) Have fun!

OK, this should cover both, looking cute and functionality. Wear a fly fishing vest with lots of pockets. Some form of baseball hat and sunglasses. That's pretty much a minimum, but them, I'm not too worried about fashion when it comes to fishing.

Seeing as it's your first time, you won't have any of the fishing gear the others are talking about. Just wear jeans and a t-shirt, you don't need cute clothes to go fishing. You don't want fish slime on your good clothes do you? =D

If you have a nice body then wear a bathing suit. That way if the fishing isn't so hot, at least they will have you.

Go for function, not cuteness. If you are already cute, you will continue to look that way. If not, then nothing you can wear will help.
