If I get a modified choke for a 12 ga 870 express magnum will the choke stick out of the barrel?

To jolly roger and any airgun expert: I have a bsa goldstar .177 and I took the spring out and replaced it with a theoben gas strutt. During this operation the trigger pin fell out, I replaced the trigger but can't get it to work, the trigger adjustment screw is not doing anything. I think the trigger strutt is out of place so the adjustment screw is not making contact with the trigger sear. Is there any way I can reset the trigger strutt without taking the whole assembly to peices . At the moment the trigger strutt is hanging straight down it's the only position where I can line it up with the trigger pin hole and assemble the trigger, but it dosn't seem to be doing anyhing in that position. I don't know what position it should be in, but it worked correctly before.Can someone help me with this or advise.
The mechanism clicks when the gun is cocked and the sear engages, I quickly apply the safety catch. As soon as I release the safety it fires, no trigger operating, very dangerous.

A friend and I are considering a guided boar hunting trip in the Southeast (NC, SC, TN). I have a 30-30. My friend has a 270.

Will my 30-30 be okay for Southeastern sized boar? I also have a 12 gauge pump (for slugs) if that is a better choice.

I am considering a new rifle this year because I want something lighter to carry. My brother, who I hunt with and who guides others, says I need a Kimber in 325. I trust his judgment of course but I want to hear other opinions. We hunt on our dad's place in the rockies in Wyoming and its rough country so I want a gun that is easier to carry than what I have now. So lets have some feedback on the Kimber 325 as an all around gun for deer, antelope, elk. Recoil is no problem because I can handle a 338 Win Mag without any difficulty. Your thoughts?

My boyfriend just picked up a glock 23 40 cal and I was wondering why there is such a price difference in the Glock brand vs S&W? I was looking at purchasing either a 40 cal or 9mm S&W which was priced new at $319.99 (for the 40 cal... which was odd to me since the 40 cal is cheaper than the 9mm) and the 9mm S&W was marked at 329.99! On that note the sales guy tried convincing me to get a 357 magnum because I am a female and he thinks pistols arent a females best bet (I like shooting the 357 and loading because it is an easy load and easier to clean vs loading a mag and cleaning a pistol)! Crazy enough the 357 mag cost much more than a 9mm or 40 cal pistol (why would a revolver cost so much more... reliable?) Anyways Im interested in the S&W pistols... Id prefer a Beretta but its not in the price range at the moment? Which is a better buy in your opinion? Glocks or S&W... and why?????

Are there any plants potentially poisonous in North America that are sedative or hypnotics absorbed through skin?

I wondered if touching a plant by accident could get me sleepy? I have to brush by plants walking uphill and some of them have released juice there was one funny spiky one that gave juice and accidentally got their wet leaves and flowers on me when I fell and swear I was more sleepy than I have ever been in a few hours. Didnt smell strong though but I rarely get tired so I thought that was strange. Id sure like to avoid anything. If so which species.
I dont want fall into the wrong plants yuck.
