We live on 72 acres in Whitetop. Yesterday we found a leg bone and hoof of a deer that apparently had been killed by some type of animal. Any feedback on what could have killed the deer? Should we be concerned for our Lab?

At last count over 350.000 inocent men, women& children were killed in the Irac war efforts. This seal heavest by fishermen is brought to the attention of many U S citisens each year ,quite often by a drug addict actor in Hollywood when they say to boycot the seal hunt . The quota 0f 270.00 seals is of more concern to them then that issue .These seals are now extended into our harbours ,rivers, and unto our warves .They eat vast amounts of codfish and lumpfish, etc.

Based on past questions, the folks at Yahoo answers have convinced me to purchase a .357 magnum as one gun for my small collection.

I have a couple questions. What is the best .357 magnum for the money. I am interested in a 6 in barrel, so it can double for hunting. Is there a big difference between S&W and Taurus? I saw a new Taurus Tracker 6 in for $417. It had a ribbed black rubber grip, which I am not sure if I like or not. How easy is it to change grips?

If I go with a used revolver, what qualities should I look for?

I'm a semi-auto guys, so any tips are appreciated. I would like to find a good quality gun for about $250-$300 used or less than $450 new. Used is preferable if revolvers hold up well.

I would like to know what the best all-around rifle would be for deer and elk, and possibly bear. I would like one that would be good for when you set the scope at 100 yards, and it only falls about an inch or two at three hundred yards. What do you think would be a good rifle that would meet those characteristics. I wouldn't mind having a bigger one either. I would also not mind a smaller round, as long as it would have PLENTY of knock-down for an elk around 200-300 yards. Can anyone help? Thanks!!

Good revolver? How much more "stopping power" would this have vs. a 9mm semi auto? Similiar recoil to a glock 9mm ? Looks like a well made gun from what I've read on it. Just looking for others thoughts. Just wanting to go revolver now. I like simplicity.

Looking to purchase one. Any suggestions for a model that would limit the effects of recoil? I'm an average sized man with very good strength, I just prefer the least amount of recoil possible. Thanks
