I would go to a boot shop and get me some saddle soap and clean it with that. It also polishes as it cleans.

Wipe dirt and debris off with a soft cloth.

I use a stiff toothbrush to get crap out of the basketweave design.

Use a good saddle soap on the OUTSIDE of the holster.

Apply leather dye if scuffed.

Apply leather cream and wipe off excess with a dry, clean cloth.

You are done unless you want to shine the holster. Then use any good PASTE shoe polish. Buff it completely or you will stain your uniform pants.

If your holster is lined, brush it out with the tooth brush. Do not use the saddle soap or leather cream on the liner. If it's not lined, then brush it out, and use the leather cream. I wouldn't use the saddle soap because it is hard to clean that stuff out of the inside of the holster.
