It's a decent gun if you want a multi-pump rifle. It has a plastic stock, plastic (resin) receiver, around 650 FPS with pellets, weighs about 3-3/4 lbs. and costs about $50.
The Winchester/Daisy 800x is quite a bit more gun for the money. It has a walnut stock, steel receiver, is 800 FPS, weighs a little over 6-1/2 lbs. and is about $90. For $30 more than that you can get the 1000x which has the same specs as the 800x other than being 1000 FPS.
The 880 is a decent gun but really doesn't compare to the other 2 models for the price difference. It all depends on how nice of an air rifle you want and how much you have to spend.
I had a few of the plastic multi-pump models through the years and really like the weight, sights, and feel of the newer wood/steel higher velocity break barrel air rifles.

Having had two of them, I would say "Stay away from the 880". The first one I had stopped compressing the air when it was pumped up due to a seal leaking. Upon sending it to Daisy, I was awarded a brand new replacement. Within a few months, that one developed the same problem. They were both very accurate with a scope mounted to the pot-metal receiver and shooting pellets, good enough to collect several squirrels and a few rabbits that held still too long. As far as an air rifle that will last, I ended up with a Gamo Hunter that I am well pleased with. The Winchesters are a little less expensive, though.
