I don't get why Gaa is't mentioned. What if people from Ireland who know about Gaa and want to answer questions about it can't find it. they would have to look through all catagories to find a question if one was asked.

I hate going to the gym and lifting weights, it's not my thing. I'm very muscular, but I've never ever done weights. I'm a competitive swimmer, so I've never needed to do weights to get a big back, pecs, triceps, biceps, and butt. I ride my bicycle regularly to get around, and love jumping obstacles on it. I rollerblade, and wear Heelys instead of regular shoes. I love baseball and football. I even have a washboard stomach, and never do sit ups; probably because of the swimming and me always being active. It seems the only muscle that's really skinny and small are my calves. I refuse to go to a gym, and do boring repetitions just to work that part of my body.

There must be a sport that makes big calves, so I don't have to do something as boring as to do repetitions on a gym.

What sport makes big calves??

well i am a freshman going on a sophmore at highschool. i am trying out for cheerleading and this is kinda sumthing new for me! but i think i have the qualities to become a cheerleader because my tumbling is good...right now i have a backhandspring on the floor working on my tuck. also because anything that i cant do i am willing to try my hardest to work on it. i have tumbling classes twice a week for 3hrs. i am goin to work REALLY HARD!!! but tryouts are in about 2 weeks. so i have 2 weeks to work on wat i need. well now all that is said....wat do the judges look for in a cheerleader when you try out ???? like your tumbling, your jumps, orr whatttt? i would love for someone to reply back to my question. THANKS!

tommorow track starts for me. im in 8th grade...and our track team has A LOT of people...400 ish i think. anywayz, whats a good time for 100, 200, 400, 800, and 1600 for a 13 yr old whose 5'7" and 123.5 pounds. Last time I ran a 100 m dash and it was timed was in April 2006 and my time was 18.5 sec. I think it may be better because now i am a little bit better at running. Any tips for running faster/getting better times without overexhausting myself. One of my coaches last year said that i should try to lift my legs/feet while running to get farther. Please help...im kinda nervous about track, but also excited...I did it last year and it was great

My mile time is about 10 minutes and I need to get it down by august. But whenever I run I get really winded fast and can't breathe because of my asthma. I'm also not really fast.
But I want to make the Field Hockey team. Any suggestions on how to improve my mile?

Why do the referees whistles have a different tone in football and rugby? A football refs whistle is more shrill than a rugby whistle.

My uncle tells me that after a while playing basketball or any other sports in your boxers will make your balls sag painfully. Is that true? He said that because your balls are not held in place and when you jump up and down your balls jiggle roughly. After a while he said your balls will hurt and sag Can someone confirm this for me?

does any one elses high school coaches make them lift a lot for track? Cuz our workout is usually like running 20 -30 minutes then he makes us go lift for like 1 and a half to 2 hours and it apparently hasnt helped our team cuz we never win. But i dont see any point in having to lift so much cuz it cant really affect your running that much. I think we should jsut run more and do weights less. Im just wondering how much you guys do at practice for running and lifting.
