Why do the fastest times and/or heat winners get the middle lanes? Why are they prefferable over the outside lanes? I guess this would hold true for track and probably some other sports also.

I am 21 and have always been overweight. About 2 years ago I started eating healthier and lost around 30 or so pounds. I kept it off until I got pregnant with my son, then gained it all back. I decided that this time around I am going to actually try to get in BETTER SHAPE, instead of just losing weight. I started walking and have recently started jogging as much as I can instead of walking. The back of my thighs are really sore. I'm curious if it is ok for me to continue to walk/jog or should i stop and wait until they arent sore anymore. Also if anyone has an other ideas on what to do to speed up the process of losing weight.... Thanks

Ive suddenly become very interested in becoming a skateboarder. I know its not just a fad, because I know that I want to do it for me. Would 14 be too late of an age to work hard and become great? Maybe even get a sponser?

Hey!!! Thanks for coming to read! Much appreciated =)

I'm a Vietnamese boy that is very intrested in badminton and I want to buy a racquet. I currently play badminton every single day since 2 months ago. I currently stopped playing this week because I pulled a muscle...

-What brands should I look for?
-How much should I spend on a racquet?
-Anything I should keep in mind while I choose?
-Where can I get my strings re-done if i mess up my raquet?

Any stores I should notice for these things? Name all stores please.

I can't believe how much it costs for my boys to play football. The $200.00 does not even include any gear. Do you think that is to expensive? It is for a city league not the school. What do you think? Too much? or about right?

I took Gymnastics when i was 7 and haven't done it since so now all i can do is a kart wheel, a back bend and sometimes a round-off. I can't even do any splits. In two weeks there are cheerleading tryouts for my highschool next year. I will be a freshman so I won't get cut. But do you think I should do Cheerleading even though I'm not that good. And if so you do you have any tips for me about cheerleading. (O yea Just to tell you the team isn't that competive it's just mainly for ftball games and bball games and so on)

I want to know why women do these sports when I see many, and maybe all, that have no chest whatsoever. I understand that it comes with the territory, but doesnt that make you insecure to stand or sit by a "larger" woman. Does it also make u feel upset to know that many men do not like flat chested women?
