guys playing Div. 1 football - are they tested for drugs? what if those weight/powder drinks are in his system, are they safe? how often are they tested and what happen if they is positive and have a scholarship money, etc....who tests them the coaches or NCAA?

I think its random like the rest of professional sports, otherwise I dont believe coaches would allow it.. I steroid or other illegal drug user sticks out like a sore thumb so the best bet would be not to use them, and since the coaches and school staff would find this offensive and degrading to the school and team they wouldnt just lose their scholarship money they would be diqualified from the sport period.. Normal supplements such as whey or Notric Oxide are not illegal drugs and would not disqualify anyone from the specific sport.. You can better yourself without the aid of illegal supplements, especially if your D1 material.. If your D1 material your athleticism is already good enough and the workouts and training that will be issued by the coaches will improve you naturally without the fear of being caught..

Not 100% sure, but I believe there are currently no drug testing policies in NCAA.
