1) Take a few running steps. Don’t take too many otherwise you might go flying like a torpedo and land on your back.
2) Throw up your hands above your head. Make sure they’re straight with palms open; you don’t want to stick your head a foot underneath the ground do you?
3) Plant your hands down onto the ground, while going down to do this rip up one of your legs behind you to start your rotation’s momentum.
4) Push off with your last leg. Explode off the ground with that leg. Push off as soon as your hands are planted on the ground or a fraction of a second before they’re on the ground. It should feel like you’re going into a handstand except rotating.
5) PUSH WITH YOUR ARMS. Spring! Try not to bend your arms, try to use your shoulders and shrug. The last thing you want is a buckled arm. If you did this successfully, and you have enough rotation, you should be on your feet. Congrats on doing a front handspring.

Tips
1) When throwing your hands down in the beginning, throw them down as hard as you can without hurting yourself. Good rotational momentum is what you need.
2) Do not bend your arms when they are on the floor. That’ll only decrease the amount of height you’ll achieve.
3) Spring off with your hands as soon as you can. Do not wait for your legs to be overhead
4) Kick as hard as you can with your legs when in the handstand position. Very important since landing on your hands slows down your momentum. Kick hard and you will spin faster. Do this well enough and you will not fall onto your back like some of you were having problems with?
5) Very important a lot of you complain about landing with your legs bent in a squat position. To avoid this you cannot bend your legs at any time during the flip. It will be harder to land it when legs are straight but if you bend them at all you will not land standing up.
6) If your torso turns during your front handsprings, FIX THIS IMMEDIATELY. This will screw you up a lot from perfecting your handspring, and will look really ugly to other people.
