Klinsmann quit two days ago. That's quite a sad news for the Germans. But I do believe he will return in two or three years. Now, he has to relax himself with his family in America after suffering so much stress. He is the coach that can make everything better. He had already got to the top of Germany. He was regarded as the national hero. He must have a clear mind. Anyway, I will look forward his return. What do you think of it?

Ok i'll make this really easy for your and answer it. Football is called football because one uses a spherical (round) ball which a player kicks aroud the pitch. In order to kick the ball a football player uses his 'foot' hence the name - foot-ball.

its quite logical really basketball has a basket in it where one must get the ball in basket. Of course some games like rugby there is no ball in the title, but at least it sounds cool.

I just don't understand why american football is called so. I think a better name would be crapball or sissyball anyone else got any better names for american football so it doesn't get confused with the real football?

Smiles like a sweet angel one moment, and the next, darts a menacing look. Now that he is retiring, he should start acting. He is just too handsome.....Is it true that he is a model for Christian Dior???? Oh by the way, the headbutt....justified. Apology accepted. Not even football can come in the way of protecting a clan/family.

Ive just read the headlines and can't really make up the conclusion of the statement made by Zizou and the Fifa committee. Is it true that if Materazzi was found breaching the Fifa rules, Italy could be stripped from its World Cup title??

Like Zidane. Are they dominating in all areas of sports? And should we allow all immigrants to represent the country. If yes, I dont know what will happen next time.

Hey everyone - the WC is at its end but the controversial around it is not!! I came across an article that says a French lawyer wants to go to court to request for a replay!! Please read the article and let me hear your views on a possibility of a rematch - in my opinion it would be a huge disaster!!

Let me clarify that Zidane is one of my favourite players & i am very happy that he got the award. But frankly i think Cannavaro deserved it more
1 He played every minute of Italy's world cup win.
2 You have to accept that he was the best defender,he had to shoulder huge burden as Nesta missed out.He had to cover up for a sluggish Materazzi, when the side backs overlapped.
Zidane on the other hand played poorly against Korea, Switzerland...missed Togo match..he was god-like vs Spain, Brazil. But was kept quiet vs Portugal & Italy. If I consider the 2 goals in these games that would mean 4 good games , compared to Cannavaro's 7.
Even for the sake of fair play i think Cannavaro should win.Even if Zidane was provoked in the final, still he has 3 yellow & 1 red. Cannavaro has not seen a card !!! Beleive me he hasnt,he is the cleanest player of WC, 690 mins played & no card...for a defender!!The only Italian defender not seeing a card
Do you think he was snubbed as hes a defender ???

On video basis and not on any referre jugement, zidane had shown red card which is not according to FiFA Rules.
1.Zidane ,Take the matter to the FIFA?
2.if zidane was there in penalty shoot out, would france win that final?

did France show better game than Italy?

I have some spare tickets and while I didn't buy them to make a profit, I wouldn't mind selling them at a higher price.

Would fans be happy to buy them at slightly inflated prices?

Is it totally unethical?

This is for the Asia Cup game in Sydney in August.

I would say yes, sure , why not ?

I know that Lawyer is stupid to even think about going after FIFA for this . But who cares, lets replay and kick their a** again to shut them up once and for all . It doesn't matter if they replay the last 10 minutes of the game or the whole game , cause Italy will win fair and square one more time . You Franchies need to remember how you score that first goal in the Final , it was a result from a dive , not a PK .

I was on a tube (metro) during rush hour and it stopped in a tunnel, I couldn’t hold it in so I decided to squeeze it out but alas, it was not to be. The fart ripped out with a vengeance and was heard by all but no-one acknowledged it. I mean really old chap! someone MUST of heard it?! Anyway, the fumes started wafting up, causing me temporary blindness, but still nobody within fainting distance budged, everyone pretended there wasn’t a pink elephant in the carriage.

What does this have to do with World Cup?????….. Well, once England as a nation starts to acknowledge the presence of farts, then maybe they’ll be able to detect the presence of a damn ball on a pitch!
