I have some spare tickets and while I didn't buy them to make a profit, I wouldn't mind selling them at a higher price.

Would fans be happy to buy them at slightly inflated prices?

Is it totally unethical?

This is for the Asia Cup game in Sydney in August.

Nothing unethical in that, because you purchased them in the proper way.

Moreover, it's shows a good business acumen on your part, in studying the demand and supply forces of the match tickets.

However, it also depends on the popularity of this match for Aussies. If this was the fixture in Tehran, I can guarantee the tickets would be easily snapped up, such is the fervour the Iranians show when their National team plays.

Soccer in Australia is growing but still behind rugby, rules football and maybe even cricket. If Soccer Australia can drum up enough excitement in the build-up to the match and get a full house, then your 'extra tickets' can be re-sold for a profit.
If no full house, then you'll end up with 'egg on your face'.

But I think, you'll get lucky and there will be a 'full house' for this match. However, don't get carried away by 1 success and start buying extra tickets all the time.
Iran might give Australia a fight, but not many other Asian teams can.
