Football (soccer) why do Yanks see it as a girls game?

Hear me out. If you think American football is a mans game, it's not. Head to toe in armour, rugby or even hurling are much tougher. But do you know how competitive football is in South America or Europe, it's not non contact, it's a very tough sport. Just because you use feet not hands, doesn't mean it's for wimps. Tackles fly in, keepers dive into players feet who are smashing the ball at goal. defenders power through players in the box to clear the ball, it's tough.... some of the injuries are bad. So why do you think it's for women? basketball is a great sport, but completely non contact, yet it's played by 6-7 ft giants, massive guys built like brick sh1t houses. I want your opinion on this

Can anyone seriously doubt that the premier league is the best in the world??

All the clubs here get big names, even Anelka went to Bolton, and of course Tevez to West Ham .... can anyone seriously think La Liga is better? The big transfer news coming out of Spain today is Pascal Cygans £2m move from Arsenal
