I feel Zidane's absence is affecting the perfomance of real madrid very badly. His abscence is evident in all their matches these days.Do u think RM can do well without Zizou.?

P.S.I dont think having the captain of the WC 2006 winners have helped RM.I mean Cannavaro. Is he of any use in improving RM's perfomance?

FA had a chance to fire Sven, two chances actually, during the Faria Alam scandal and the fake Sheik scandal. And we all know that it's Steve McLaren who did the thinking. So please choose among these candidates:

1. Rooney.
2. Ronaldo.
3. Lampard, Gerrard, Carragher. (hmm..wonder why I put these three as a package?)
4. Beckham.

Also second question will his career overshadow Rooney's simply because of looks and marketing?
Read article talking about C.Ron's huge marketing abilities in the female market, despite the fact that many consider Wayne Rooney the better footballer goggle reports C.Ron lead Rooney in websites and searches by about 10,000. Voted top 3 Sexiest Footballer in 19 countries.Signed various modeling contracts.Article also point out that Ronaldo's game is arguably more exciting then Becks because of his flashy footworks. At age 21 he arguably had more publicity(in the marketing areas) then Becks did. Arguably more talented, if Ronaldo one day wins Fifa Footballer of Year, the effects in sports marketing will be gigantic. Let's face it most great footballers are average lookers, aside from Ron and Becks, theres perhaps kaka ballack and a few others thats 'pretty boys'. Trust that Man Utd also had this in mind when they refuse to sell him, a future sex icon that can help them win also.

I've recently moved to Harlow, Essex and am looking to join the local ladies football team. I used to play for my home team of Chesterfield and I played at Uni (Plymouth).

Does anyone else play or know of the local teams whereabouts? I'm really keen to start playing again - (it's only been a year!)
