Well, Spanish and English Leagues are becoming more and more interesting, because there's a lot of competition between the best clubs, even in the media, the strong and spectacular way these clubs play etc. Moreover it's been to years that Barça and Chelsea are winning their leagues, so the other teams will be much motivated to beat them. Anyway my favorite league will always be the Italian but with Juve in Serie B and other big teams penalized, it has lost sth in quality. Example: With all the respect but clubs like Palermo or Chievo want a place in the Champions League next year! I'm not saying it will be so boring, I'll enjoy it as always, but objectively, other people would rather prefer to watch La Liga or the Premier League more

EPL, La Liga and Serie A, then Bundesliga and French Ligue One, then the Dutch Eredivisie, followed by the Portuguese Super Liga and the Scottish League.

Previously, Serie A was ahead of La Liga.
But the standard dipped due to the exodus of their top players after a number of clubs fell into debt and the recent involvement in corruption scandals.

Why is EPL the best European soccer league?
Its the league with the largest following in the world, and the one league most professional players aim to play in.

Oh the English premier league of course!

I think there are good unbiased reasons for saying this.

Firstly it's reason for being is to excite and entertain. The football is fast and attacking. The players move the ball around with great skill and speed and the willingness of teams to constantly attack means that even late into a game the scoreline can change dramatically.

Secondly it contains most of the best players in the world.

Thirdly it contains the most passionate fans in the world who make the atmosphere in the stadium electric even when relatively unfashionable teams are playing each other.

It's so good. I can't tell you how much English people love football.

1. La Liga
2. Premier League
3. Bundesliga
4. Serie A

Last Champions League Barcelona was highly performing, I guess they were so far the best Euro Club. 'La Liga' top level was confirmed with UEFA Cup Sevilla's square winning on Middlesbrough and Villareal semifinalist in Champions.
Both Real Madrid and Barcelona are enforced by Juventus leaving champions (coach Capello, Cannavaro, Emerson - and Thuram, Zambrotta respectively), so it's easy to pick them at top Clubs in the next season.
English Clubs did well, having two runners-up in last cups. Arsenal was the only team to face Barcelona at same level. Middlesbrough did well since final. And I agree with 'keypointist', their ship is anyway entertaining and Clubs fight until it's over.
If Juventus wasn't relegated, I would give 'serie A' the third place, but the major Italian ship lost such a main actress as 'old lady' is. Chievo already failed their target, losing in Champions preliminaries. It's life. So I need increase 'Bundesliga' ranking. Last year Clubs performance in Euro cups was average (btw Juventus was really LUCKY in won Werder Bremen), this season I think they're so proud having perfectly hosted WC and with their 3rd place, and this satisfaction will involve playing level.

Last few seasons it has been the English Premier league. Before that it was the Spanish La Liga. This season who knows. Maybe serie A or even Serie B with Juve there. Maybe the match fixing scandel will add to the excitment in Italian league football this season. The Italian League hasn't started yet so who knows.

Well... The english league was the best for years, the italian league is in a mess still, to me the portuguese, french and dutch never really caught on, the spanish has been great for the last four years or so, but for this season you ask? it will have to be either the English or Spanish

Of coz the English Premier League!
Coz it was far more exciting then any other league in the world and is the most watchable league in the world! Ask any of my country people and they can name most of the top players in the EPL and we love EPL! most of the Asian countries watch EPL and have less interest on other leagues! So, EPL is the best and Man Utd is the best team in EPL!

well everyone is going to like different things for many different reasons. i personally like the english premier league. there are a lot of extraordinary players playing in that league. but i mean, there are still tons of other great players playing the bundesliga (sp?), la liga, series a, all of those other leagues. so, it just depends on what people like. i personally like the EPL.
