1. If Liverpool play in form, they can be the champion.
2. If Chelsea return to 4-5-1 formation, they have a chance too.
3. If Arsenal play like they do in 2004/05, they will be the champ
4. If ManUTD continue play like at early round of this season, they can be champ too
5. Another teams don't have inner strength

Whoever said Man U is going down hill needs to open their eyes. Man U same as last year is 3-0. Then Internationals came and ruined it, thats different this year, players are more in tune and less injuries. Plus they did 2 wins without Rooney and Scholes. Chelsea got caught sleeping against Middlesbrough, but yes they still have a chance. Liverpool, possibly. Arsenal?? If they keep it up like this ...wow no chance. Newcastle? Doubt it after the Villa stomping. Portsmouth looks pretty damn good at the moment, with those heavy 2 wins and clean sheet. Lets not forget West Ham with signing Tevez and Mascerano.

But hey its early in the season.

ok i think charlton are out of the question lol. they got more chance of getting relegated and i think they will. but i agree with u, chelsea are also getting on my nerves as well. as chelsea have alread lost a game i really feel that this season is going to be the best season ever. ok so u have got ur arsenal, chelsea, man u, l'pool. but then u also have spurs who did great last season. then u have aston villa who under martin o 'neil seem to have an extra edge about them in the games so far. then u have west ham who have just signed 2 of the biggest argentine stars. portsmouth as well coz they have harry rednapp, who is a great english manager. and always seem to bring out the best out of the players who are average. what about middlesborough who have alot of good players and keep beating the good teams. last season they beat man u, arsenal and chelsea. and again this season they beat chelsea, so if they play consistently they could be up there, and bolton who have beaten arsenal and man u, in recent years and also have a great manager. so i think it is right to say that theses 6 teams will give the likes of arsnal, chelsea, man u and l'pool tough games. and i havn't even mentioned newcastle. so i really think that the title race will be more exciting than the relegation battle. so to sum up and answer ur question... i really dont know who is gonna win, i hope arsenal coz i support them

I am going for the longshot! Newcastle! Damien Duff, Obafemi Martins, and Giuseppe Rossi are the newcomers to add with Shay Given and Michael Owen. Chelsea isn't as good as they seem on paper, Manchester United is going downhill, and Arsenal would be my second pick.

chelsea, liverpool, man. united, and arsenal all obviously have the potential and are capable of winning this season. they've got some really talented guys, so it will be interesting to see how it all turns out. my hopes are that liverpool will work their way to the top and win the whole thing, but we'll obviously never know until that day comes because like i said, anything can happen.

as for dark horses, i really don't know. i want to try and pay some attention to portsmouth. i want to see how their team works on the pitch. so far they have been doing good against teams like middlesbrough and blackburn, who they have beaten so far. i don't think they are going to be good enough to win, but i think they might have their fair share of luck this season and might end up doing pretty good.

There is no question, Chelsea they just signed Ashley Cole the best left back in the game and they already have Shevchenko, Robben, Drogba, Essien, Cech, etc... etc... etc...., Man U probably has the best shot but Saha will have to play like Cantona for them to have a reasonable chance.

Same team as last year and the year before! Chelsea!

I am sure that it must be distressing to all Chelsea followers that the team/club is getting on your nerves! How will we sleep at night!!??!!
