YEA YES! THOSE BRAZILIANS ARE GONE WITH THEIR EXTREME ARROGANCE !! AND MY COUNTRY OF BIRTH WON! VIVE LA FRANCE NOUS! Now that those arrogant ppl are gone, who do you think will win. Italy , Germany , Portugal or France. Personaly I do not care my wish was that anebody but Brazil won because it was getting so old and they were saing things like " losing to that team has not even cross my mind" " we fear no one act.." So i thoght it was time they were taught a little lesson! Anyways who do you think will win it all and why?

France beat the favorites, that makes france the new favorites.

Germany was'nt suppose to be in the semi's. Its just because they cheated. thats why they here.

Italy havent beat any strong team at all.

Right now every time I read the sports section of YAHOO! or the local newspaper I always see some headlines about the World Cup. There press seems to be giving as much attention to FIFA and the World Cup as I would normally see during the NFL's (aka "American" Football) regular season. Can anyone explain to me why the World Cup seems to be the prior focus of the press in America like it's never been before?

Please people, I am serious about this question (like I am with all of my questions), and if you don't know, don't answer.

It doesn't seem as if FIFA is interested in improving the quality of referees. It wouldn't be too difficult to use a bit of technology.

is it me or do i get distinct impression they dnt give a crap? rooney is sooo cocky . they get paid too much and winning the world cup would just be another dvd to add to there collection. this aint gonna change, theres no miracle answer. new manager - same thing.we are the mugs who spend money and idolise them even if they dont make the effort. maybe if some of you lot woke up and took them for what they are ( ungrateful spolit brats) , they might have to start trying to win your respect! its our fault aswell

Not like they did not care but they wasn't as emotional as the other teams when they lost. I could not even tell that they game was over no one was on the ground crying or had their head down, or nothing they were just huging the french as if they won. They fans were more sad then them especially me.
