YEA YES! THOSE BRAZILIANS ARE GONE WITH THEIR EXTREME ARROGANCE !! AND MY COUNTRY OF BIRTH WON! VIVE LA FRANCE NOUS! Now that those arrogant ppl are gone, who do you think will win. Italy , Germany , Portugal or France. Personaly I do not care my wish was that anebody but Brazil won because it was getting so old and they were saing things like " losing to that team has not even cross my mind" " we fear no one act.." So i thoght it was time they were taught a little lesson! Anyways who do you think will win it all and why?

Germany was so lucky to beat a far superior team in Argentina! (Well actually they did not beat them! It was a tie! Winning on PK is not a win, its just to determine who will advance!) They did everything except score! Totally dominated them! Close to 70 % ball possesion. Italy will do much the same except hopefully they will score!
Italy like Argentina have skill to burn. Once they score the flood gates will open. Look for Toni to score 2 or more goals. Totti will be feeding him! Like Argentina all their players are top players in their professional teams. Mind you the Germans are not bad but just not in same class as Argentina or Italy or France!!!!
Too bad that Argentina and Italy are not playing! Now that would of been a hell of a game! Was nice to see France CRUSH the over rated and much hyped brazilian team!

Right now I think Germany has the edge after their triumph over Brazil. However, any one of the remaining four is capable of winning the cup. It is an all European final four, so we know at least that a country in Europe will be the winner.

one1bigphil, im not sure whether u watched the game. i did. yes argentina had 65% of the ball posession in the first half. but they also had fewer shots on goal. the germans stopped them in the midfield over and over again. who cares about the ball posession? u can have 95% possession but still lose and get kicked out. germany showed much better nerves than argentina at the end and DESERVED to win.
