Personally I hate to see any team eliminated because its just a constant reminder that World Cup 2006 will have to come to an end. Yes, I know there has to be a winner but given the little attention that soccer receives in the US, I am just loving the opportunity to enjoy so much of the sport. I really don't look forward to having to go through withdrawal AGAIN, in a week or so. It gets harder and harder to recuperate every four years as I get older and older.

I like the style of English soccer, they play very professionally. Italy and Argentina play like criminals this is not how the game suppose to be played.
About the Beckham player I guess him and all others great players in the world are suffering from a "spell" he is not the only exception. If you had the opportunity of watch how is their performance in regular games, you would be amazed by their talents. Even if you are not familiar with the sport you would easel see their greatness.

No. They tried their best and had to put up with divers, cheats and Ronaldo (a mixture of both) So for that i think they more likely deserve medals. And a good smack from Rooney for Ronaldo wouldn't go amiss either.

waiting for the replies.................do your worst = |
