sad because England's my team and also sad for Brazil because you want to see them playing in the world cup. but i must admit I'm glad they are not going to win it this time it is good for the game .....just as long as Portugal don't win (and i know they wont) because i cant stand it when the cheaters get unnoticed and scrape through..

well I was happy for the win of Portugal, not that I was happy England lost, per say, but the Portuguese played a great game and England was not at their best. That said, I am really upset that Brazil lost. I think that they are a great team and deserve to win, even though they have in the past. Brazil is such a poor country, their ONE claim to fame is soccer. It was sad to see them go.

Very happy, because Germany won't have to play against Brazil in the final :p I'm sure Brazil can win ANY match if they really want to, but they missed the spirit today (and this whole tournament for that matter).

I´m sad that both teams are out ,,, last time france beat Brazil was because the FIFA told Brazil either or else ,,,, as for England what do you expect from an argentina referee ,,,he favoured Portugal too much ..

Very Sad for England!..they gave the Portuguese a gift, that is what penalties are about "A Gift"...but I am Very Very Happy Brazil our OUT...lets see how Germany Do...

Muy excited. The game needs variety. I do not know why the English thought they could win with the way they have been playing and the same goes for Brazil.

i must say, this is the best day of my life with both England & Brazil were eliminated in the same day
neither team had any outstanding performance throughout the tournament.. especially England
