The Little 10 - wow - they don't even play real football do they? I think their coach is toast - he has to be burned out and gone after this year. They will also lose to OSU and if they play Wisconsin, they will lose to them too!

If not, for what reason are you a fan of, let's say you're from san fran, but you like the seahawks, why is that so?

Are people from different states allowed to be a fan of a team from another state?

Did you get to watch your team on TV today? I live In Iowa and have mediacom. they showed the Hawkeye game today, but my dad could not get it on dish. This whole thing with the Big Ten Network is driving me crazy. One more question, How do you think Michigan will do this year? I don't mean to troll, but i was very surprised by that game today. thanks!

It was only on the Big Ten network, which Charter of Mid-Michigan doesn't carry. HOW LAME! This is the first time ever in known history I've known this to happen!

What is this bull?

USC's lackluster 38-10 win over powerhouse Idaho? (note required a couple 4th down conversions to run it up even that high although that catch in the endzone was off the chart)

Texas limping past a nobody Arkansas St team

Auburn being shut down and outshined for 3 1/2 quarters

Oklahoma St's Vaunted Offense getting shut down @ Georgia

Notre Dame... well lots I could say here not much good though

obviously Michigan is the biggest they did become an answer to a trivia question (Who is the only top 10 team to ever lose at home to a 1-AA school? lol).. just in my eyes it seemed as though alot of teams were less than spectacular

This has to be the worst defeat in Michigan's history, and only proves the rankings are a joke,to say Michigan was overrated is an understatement

I know the Irish won't do good this year, and it breaks my heart to say that, but I say just put the Freshman in, what do you have to loose. Also, why is everyone making a big deal about the Michigan loss. App. St is a 2 time defending National Champ and isn't the only difference between their division and ours is the size of the school? Does that mean small schools can't be good? Some small schools have awesome teams and get no credit what so ever. I bet Mount Union could have beat most Div 1 schools too, so Michigan lost to the top ranked team who will win yet a 3rd championship in a row this year, it will just make Michigans loss to Notre Dame in two weeks not that bad then since they already did.

I watched the highlights on ESPN. Appalachian State looked like Ohio State for crying out loud. That failed field-goal and that embarrassing touchdown by the quarterback made Michigan look like amateurs.

I wouldn't be surprised if Michigan doesn't make the rankings.

They played great defense against Auburn and showed flashes of greatness on offense. They would have won that game had they not hurt themselves so much, but give credit to Auburn for gutting it out and capitalizing on K-State's mistakes late in the fourth quarter. But if K-State stops hurting themselves and learns how to consisitently win games do you think that they could win the Big 12 North or even the Big 12 Conference this year? Tell me what you think. I have hope, but I am also trying to remain realistic.

I don't know about you but I think the Rams fan base out here on the west coast is big enough for Fox to consider showing the Rams game regionally every week the same way CBS shows the Raiders and Chargers every week. It get's on my nerves when I turn on the TV expecting to see my team and they show the Giants vs Cowboys or Packers vs Bears or Saints vs Eagles. Who cares!

It seems every year notre dame robs some deserving school of a BCS bowl birth and then gets pummeled in their bowl game just like they did agains LSU and Ohio State the last two years. So. . will the NCAA give them a waiver if they aren't bowl eligible?

After their win against Tenn tonight, I have high hopes for my Golden Bears. However, the match up with USC is always a hellish moment for Cal, time and time again. Despite their lack of a solid defense, does anyone think they actually have a chance this year?

Personally, I think it's a bit too early to tell, but I just wanted to check in. :)

Wow, when a Big Ten top-class program loses to Appalachian State, you know it's bad.

Guess we don't have to worry about plans for Pasadena this year. Michigan is only getting the Butt Bowl.

I can't say teams like WVU or Florida who piled up on bad teams; especially not those who barely beat bad teams. Auburn beat a decent KSt. by 10, but had to pull a decent comeback, and KSt. had a shot to win at the end. Cal beat a top 15 team, but the most impressive win in my book was Georgia. I thought all the youngsters would take some time but they pretty much took care of OK St., whose offense is very good. In my book Georgia was the most impressive top 25 team in week one. Agree? Disagree?
