Hypothetically speaking--say the Wolv's BLOW OUT their remaining opponents. Do you think there is any way they could compete for the national championship, or would the mystery formula throw them out? Or did they just end their run for the championship.

Should they be eligible for the National Championship?

NFL teams made roster moves to reach the 53-player limit.
Teams waived and released some players.
So, what is a difference between waiver and release?
What is a main reason for teams to choose between waiver and release? Which is a better treatment for players?
Thanks.

I'm thinking 2-12-2. The ties will be against Carolina, with 0-0 ties both times after 4 OTs.

As an alumni, I held my head in shame at some of the embarrassing plays in that game. Blown field goals, easy touchdowns, poor defense...Mario Manningham, Henne and Hart did their best, but boy...that defense couldn't stop a junior high team!

I almost bawled my eyes out laughing, it was that bad. Did anyone else get the same, incredulous reactions?

I'm just curious to see how they'd do against USC, Florida or Ohio State.

Which team would win? The 2001-2002 Miami Hurricanes or The 2005-2006 Texas Longhorns? I think this would be one hell of a game. Take your pick.

My high school football team recently switched their defensive scheme from 4-3 to 3-3-5. I was wondering if the 3-3-5 formation would still be effective.

I was watching the wisconsin game yesterday, and saw a reciever wearing number 2, then on defense, a completely different player, a linebacker, wearing number 2 as well. I looked again, and they were NOT the same player. I thought that was against the rules? And why would you want to share a number anyway?

And, if so, give details.

This is not meant as a hate on ND forum (so you USC boys go back to playing powerhouse Idaho), but I cannot ever remember My Irish looking that bad offensively.

I still cant tell if ant of the WRs, RBs, or QBs were any good, cause none of 'em ever had a chance to do anything.

Ithought the line was weak the last 2 seasons, but.............

We killed JMU 37-14! Yates threw for 3 TD's, Anthony Elzy had a couple TD's, the defense looked good led by freshman sensation Marvin Austin!

LETS GO TARHEELS!
