No they are a tuff team but they dont have the depth to play a tuff division 1 schedule but thats not to say they couldnt hang with those teams just not week in week out but wouldnt be suprised if they tried to make that jump up to division if their program keeps going like it has been the past couple of years they are going to find it tuff to find any other division 1 team to play them again

No because they are in 1-AA. But if they were in 1A they wouldn't really have a chance. They are a very good and solid 1-AA team...as good as they come but I think it just goes to show how unprepared Michigan was for this game and how prepared App. State was.
Against USC; App state would more than likely lose. Against Florida app state would more than likely lose. Against Ohio State app state would more than likely lose. But its football; thats why we love the game. Anything can happen on any given Saturday!
As for their own 1-AA Championship; they are definetally the favorite but there is no gaurantee that they will win a third consecutive title. In 1-AA they have a playoff and when you play a couple good teams in consecutive weeks there is a lot that could happen. Ball bounces the wrong way or a wrong turnover at the wrong time and you can have a upset. Michigan learned that the hardway.
What is really embarassing is Michigan paid App. State 400,000 dollars to come to Michigan to take a beating. But it turned out they paid App State 400,000 dollars to spoil their hopes for a National Title...Thats rough...App State can use some of that money to pay for the goalposts the fans tore down in N.C.

First off we cant give any team a spot in the national champion ship after one game, and even if we did they would stand no chance. Its great that they beat michigan but honestly if michigan and app state suited up again next week app state would get crushed. And I'm sure the exact same thing would happen if they were to play sc, florida, or ohio state. Everything just feel into place for them in this one and MIchigan did not take them seriously at all.

Props to App State, but this game really showed that Michigan has serious deficiencies as a team and it proved that Michigan isn't in the same league as any of those other teams you mentioned. USC, Florida, or Ohio State could clean Michigan's clock on any day of the week and twice on Saturday.
App State is in Division 1AA, and I'm sure they are happy to stay there and probably win a 3rd straight national championship.

Here me now cause i am telling you this, app state will probably win the 1 AA championship again this year and they will probably be moved to 1 A next year because the school is big enough to be 1 A.

Think back to when Marshall moved up to the big leagues. Yes they came in and dominated the MAC for a short while, but in a major conf. like the "big" 10 they would simply have been another also ran. Appy State would be in the same boat if they played a team the quality of Michigan week in and week out. They would end up with a sub .500 record.

The loss to Georgia Southern leaves them at 5-2, and that they nonetheless could desire to play 2 communities in front of them in the Southern convention, The fort and Chattanooga. They have been #5 in the FCS Coaches poll, yet they're going to drop with the loss. they're going to maximum probably nonetheless get a bid to the FCS journey, yet i do no longer see them attending to the call. Too many stable communities in the way, and that they seem to surrender numerous things while they are no longer enjoying communities that are completely outmatched.

No. There's a lot of hype about it being the biggest upset in sports, biggest in college football, etc., but on a week in week out basis there's no guarantee App. St. would be able to hang in on Division 1A-- at least not right now.

They are already national champions, real ones. You know the kind that actually have play-offs and a real championship game. It might be 1-AA, but it is a championship, never-the-less.
