And, if so, give details.
This is not meant as a hate on ND forum (so you USC boys go back to playing powerhouse Idaho), but I cannot ever remember My Irish looking that bad offensively.
I still cant tell if ant of the WRs, RBs, or QBs were any good, cause none of 'em ever had a chance to do anything.
Ithought the line was weak the last 2 seasons, but.............

I am not hating on the Irish but this is how i feel. I think Charlie Weis has to make a decison does he want to try to maintain credibility and try to win at least 6 games. or plan for next year. If he wants to win 6 games stick with Jones and run the spread but if he wants to try to make the run for next year throw Clausen in the game and let him take his lumps. But really let not overact to this game but they played a good defense is GA tech they should have lost year to this team. We are not giving Ga tech much credit. We also got to remember that the Irish lost alot of offense to the league from key positions. So you shouldnt expect them to come out the gates exploding. It going to take some time but they will get this together before the season is over.

This is a rebuilding year for the Irish, but the Irish coach Charlie Weis don't think so. But how are you gonna tell me, how the Irish play so badly and getting beat up N down the field by GT, that this team is not in a rebuilding mode. Every players on that team looked lost and confuse, they're couldn't executed the game plan and manage a lousy field goal. You know that's not gonna cut it at ND, the worst beat down in ND opening game ever. So Charlie Weis, this is a rebuilding year for your ND team, gets it in your head, plus I'm a USC fan, i don't enjoy beating a bad ND team like this. I'd rather be the best college game on TV that day went USC vs. ND play, but not a bad Irish team like this. But the Lucky Irish will come back in a couples of year, after all they are the Lucky Irish.

I don't know, but it should make for an interesting matchup vs. Michigan during your offensive series.
Someone asked if that was going to be the worst game ever in another question. I answered no. I think it's going to be a barn burner. Nothing like a classic matchup with a hint of desperation in the air.
I think the winner of that game goes on to salvage their season, the loser has their worst year in the last two decades.
Actually, there seem to be a lot of parallels between this years Michigan team and the 2006 version of the Irish.
Anyhow, I'll be rooting for you in a couple of weeks.
Erin go Braugh.

Jimmy Clausen should start the rest of the season...He played the best against GT...Evan Sharpley played OK, but was sacked like 7 times...Demetrius Jones should go run the practice team...but yeah, the O Line needs work...

its kinda hard to say after one game, but notre dame looked absolutely terrible, although gt's defense looked pretty solid too. Plus i duno what ther gonna do at qb either. And some of Charlies playcalling was pretty crappy too, he could of switched things up alot more, but then again, the defense of gt was in the backfield everyplay. It might be a long year for us ND fans, i hope not :(

Nortre Dame's offense was entirely awful. Their coach is definitely on the hot seat now, that was an embarassing loss, only overshadowed by Michigan's collapse.
