Which team would win? The 2001-2002 Miami Hurricanes or The 2005-2006 Texas Longhorns? I think this would be one hell of a game. Take your pick.

The Longhorns... they were so much more talented and had more leaders on that team. There was only 1 leader on the Hurricane team and that was Dorsey... he held that team together and seemed to be the only one who cared about the game.

I think the Hurricanes would have won. because their defense had more speed and was more physical then the trojan Defense Vince young played. Miami had Vilma, DJ williams, Ed Reed, etc so they had countless defensive studs. The offense wasn't as explosive as USC. But they would put up points with Andre Johnson, Portis, and Shockely. Also Bryant Mckinnie wasnt giving up any sacks. Score 38-21. Miami

Miami had a deep squad with Clinton Portis, Jermey Shockey and Ken Dorsey Ed Reed they not only dominated they routed every team they played..... NO disrespect to Vince but it would have been Hurricanes

I think that this would be a sick game. I would love to see Vince Young try to run the ball and get nailed by Ed Reed. I definitely think Miami would win.

Canes hands down. They had one of the best defenses. Texas was talented, but i dont think they would be able to move the ball againt the Canes like they did against a USC team with a sorry defense.

yeah no disrespect to Vince but Miami had loads of speed on defense and their O was the best we have ever had. Miami would easily win.
