Personally, i think their defense needs alot of work. I know that they have great players but they had trouble tackling and they didnt really have that much pressure. If they want to get far they much get pressure up front. I give it to the offense though. They are remarkable. Look out for true fresh Jahvid Best. I watched him in a few high school games (since im local and still attend high school) and omg. Just watch what he does to some of these teams. He reminds me of Bush at times.

Sure. USC will be the only regular season game where they won't be favored. But I give them a chance vs. the Trojans. Shock the Trojans, and stay consistent otherwise...you never know.

Not a snowball's chance in hell. They played an inspired game against an overrated team from an inflated conference.
If Cal plays that way with UCLA, Arizona State or USC. They would be down by 35 at halftime. Tennessee's brave two pronged attack with it's far less talented team exposed Cal's task at hand: Tighten up that D

ehh I'm skeptical.. no doubt the Offense is great.. but the Defense? some Tennessee stats..
Rushing 111 yards.. Passing 271 yards.. total offense 382 yards
Eric Ainge 32-47 for 271 yards and 3 TD's..
made him look like Peyton Manning was back.. that won't get it done honestly against USC and UCLA.. needs some improvement

no because USC will beat them. Cal will only lose to USC and go 11-1. They'll make a great bowl though. Maybe a BCS

Well, I l9ove them this year. Offense is leathel, one of the best in the country in my eyes. D is a question mark but time will tell

I was more impressed with their offense. So much speed at the skill positions. Desean is just rediculous.

not when usc manhandles them. they should get a atlarge bcs bid though.
