Did you get to watch your team on TV today? I live In Iowa and have mediacom. they showed the Hawkeye game today, but my dad could not get it on dish. This whole thing with the Big Ten Network is driving me crazy. One more question, How do you think Michigan will do this year? I don't mean to troll, but i was very surprised by that game today. thanks!

Not a fan of the Big 10, but a fan of college football. Any idiot that tries to discredit the 10 is just that, an idiot. Every conference has powerhouses and cellar teams, to say one conference is better than the other is just moronic. You usually get that kind of statement out of the South more or less, so their credibility is thrown out the window. That being said, the wife is an OSU alum so i am vicariously informed of what is going on in the 10.
To answer your question, it seems the Network is causing a little chaos, at least in the first week. It may be okay once conference play starts. I would assume the big games will still be shown on national TV, or on a real cable network that everyday people can view.
I never thought Michigan would amount to much in the first place this year, not without defense in the Big 10. I will agree with my spouse and say it is the Buckeyes title to lose. Though i did watch the Mich St game and they looked a little sharp with their new offense.

We can't watch Big 10 games in Michigan, not with out Direct TV. I was at the Big House though, so I got to see our falling out in person (aack). Michigan looked confused out on the field the entire game... as if they had never played football at some point. I think they were just shocked by these lean, mean, fast Moutain Men players. You've got to give Appalachian State a lot of credit. The best team won - and Michigan has a lot of explaining to do!

I wouldn't read too much into that Michigan game. I think it's just a mental blunder and overconfidence from last year. It's not like Appalachian managed to steamroll Michigan. They still have the weapons. However, let's face it, they are part of the Big 10 conference which means they'll have a tough schedule. When Cal lost horribly to Tennessee last year, it haunted them for the rest of the season. The same thing could happen to Michigan. BTW, to the individual who thinks the Little 12 is a legitimate conference, keep dreaming. The Little 12 schedules are weak compared to the Big 10. In the end, everyone must kowtow to the SEC.....PERIOD.

I have DirecTV and they had Big Ten Network games on all day yesterday so I could've watched the Penn State game had I had the time.
Michigan...I think they'll only lose 1 or 2 more games this year...and of course one of those losses will be to my Nittany Lions

BIG TEN???HAHAHAHAHA do they even play football? I think Not. They are always WAY overrated. I mean Ohio State GOT Whooped by the SEC. SEC and Big TWELVE are the only TWO football Conferences left. Big TEN is just a bunch of wussies who pays of the media, to be WAY overranked as seen as good when they couldnt play a decent game to save their lives. Big Ten Fans are delusional Glory seekers Searching for the Good Ole Days when they had skills
