If not, for what reason are you a fan of, let's say you're from san fran, but you like the seahawks, why is that so?

Are people from different states allowed to be a fan of a team from another state?

You can pull for whatever team you want and like for whatever reason. I live in New England, but I'm not from here orginally, and I still can't pull for any of the New England teams. I love the teams I grew up pulling for so much more.

For example, I started out in North Carolina, and fell in love with UNC basketball. I also fell in love with the Atlanta Braves there.

Then we moved to Georgia... I still love the teams listed above, but when I went to UGA, I became a Georgia fan through and through. And it doesn't matter where I live, that will never change.

I pull for the Steelers because Hines Ward went to them, and I loved seeing him play at Georgia. Plus my husband's from West Virginia and grew up a Steelers fan, so it just works for us.

Anymore, people move around a good bit, but they still like what they like, so you a lot more fans of teams other than the "home town" team anymore.

In college football I am a Washington State fan.
In the NFL I like Jacksonville.

I live in South Carolina but I am orginally for California. I was a military brat so we moved around.

You can be a fan of any team you want. Most people tend to lean towards whatever team is closest to them, just because that's usually the easiest team to identify to.

I live in San Francisco, but I grew up in San Diego, so even though I no longer live in southern California my team is still the San Diego Chargers, even though I live closer to 49er and Raider territory these days.

a million. Auburn, 2. Florida, (You couldnt come across a auburn fan a pair years in the past, keen to speak approximately their season. Now curiously a collection of human beings have been auburn followers yet didnt comprehend it until halfway in the time of the season. lol) (and city Meyer is a crybaby, circulate drink some gatorade.) a million. Pittsburgh, 2. Dallas (Steeler's followers are in basic terms demanding.)

You can be a fan of any team you want, some states do favor their own teams though.

I live in Colorado, and it's said here that a true Coloradoan has two favorite teams...the Broncos and whoever's kicking the Raiders "butts"

Those are my favorite teams too

I live in Texas and pull for the Pittsburgh Steelers. I love the Steelers because they have always been the working man's type team and the Cowboys are not.
