It seems every year notre dame robs some deserving school of a BCS bowl birth and then gets pummeled in their bowl game just like they did agains LSU and Ohio State the last two years. So. . will the NCAA give them a waiver if they aren't bowl eligible?

You know they are. Lou Holtz will bribe someone to let them in.

The only way that Notre Dame can get into a bowl is if they are granted a wavier because there weren't enough bowl eligible teams available. However, I think a D-1AA Team could get a wavier ahead of Notre Dame if that happens. However, to earn a BCS Bowl berth, Notre Dame must win 9 games.

Uh...They won't get a BCS bowl with more than 2 losses, and they won't beat USC...and Michigan will probably be a loss...and this is coming from an ND fan...They'll be 8-3, in a bowl...but not the BCS...If Appalachian State didn't have to be in the playoff system being 1-AA, I'd say they will be deserving of a bowl...

Dang right they will - I'm sure every year the bowl selection commitees all receive copies of "Rudy" in anonymous brown packaging in an obvious plot to stir up emotions - the bowls do it because Notre Dame fans are loyal and willing to travel - sometimes money wins out over merit.

Would you be referring to a "Bowl Berth"?

Maybe if you had academic requirements at your school, similiar to Notre Dame's, you might have learned how to use the English language.

And, No. It would be against the rules.

Obvious answer is Bangladesh. Seriously look at them. The bowlers are worse than most other test playing nations under 13 side.

Notre Dame negotiated its way into the system. There's no "merit" reward or privilege, just money.
