How far can Southern Illinois Get in the Tournament?

They have a 4 RPI and are looking at a 2 or 3 seed in their bracket, can they stand up to it and make it to the 16 or 8?

im a sonics fan and i feel the 2 sonics players that need to chip in more are?

you know ray allen and rashard lewis will do most of the scoring.nick collison has helped out as does chris wilcox and earl watson.wouldnt you like to see more stepping up from damien wilkins and johan petro? i feel they dont chip in as much as they should.

Why do people think Nash's MVP's have been only do to race?

Fact: Before he got there, the Suns won 27 games. The year before that they barely made the eight spot in the west.

Fact: Getting Nash and losing Marbury was there only major roster difference.

Fact: They won 35 more games and pushed San Antonio in the Western Finals.

Fact: Last year they lost 2 all star caliber players Stoudemire and Joe Johnson, and gained a player who couldn't get off the bench in Atlanta (Diaw) and still won 54 games.

Fact: In the western Finals Bell was injured so if they had had their whole team they may have won

Fact: He's averaging 19 points 12 assists and shooting 50% from the field 90% from the line and well over 40% from 3

Fact: For those who use defense as an excuse. The runner ups in his MVP years were Shaq, ( who was no longer the shot blocker he once was, and THE WORST PICK AND ROLL DEFENDER IN THE GAME) as well as LeBron who has always been merely an average defender who gambles too much

what was the show on saturday mornings about high school kids on a basketball team? it was cheesy.?

i just need the name of it. it was pretty bad. it was pretty cheesy and was situated around kids playing basketball in high school. it came on a couple of years ago on one of the major networks.

A.I. & Melo?

Huge nuggets fan here, and i was wondering, Why do you think melo and AI haven't been able to gel?

And dont say it is because they are both ball hogs, because they have refured to each other way more than anyone thought they would.

Nuggets Championship?

I belive that if the nuggets got two guys on the trading block in the offseasion they could go all the way next year. Jason Kidd and Pau Gasol. J.R. smith is good, but w/ k-mart, we could get kidd, and trading a draft pick along w/nene and najera could get us Pau. here would be the starting lineup...

PF P. Gasol-low post scoring
SF Melo-30 a game guaranted
SG A.I.-Penetration and also 30 a game

Are 82 games too many for an NBA season?

With all the injuries this year, I'm starting to think that the intensity of the schedule is a little irrational. Do you think just a little more rest between games could make a big difference in terms of keeping players healthy and on the floor?

wer can i get nba jersey's in india,am frm chennai i need sum place close,i tried da outlets here but they don't hav jersey's,they got all da jordan(jumpman23) headbands,wristbands kneepads w/e they even hav a few nba headbands,but they don't hav any jersey's.By the way i wanna get Lebron James's practice jersey,da one in NBA LIVE 2005,u no da whole maroon thing.....

Could wilt chamberlain dunk from the free throw line?

I know he was able to dunk from the line but did he really do it in a real game while shooting freethrows? As in go to the line take two or three steps back, ran forward, jumped and dunked the ball as a freethrow. Therefore dunking the ball as his free throw. Me and my friend are having a debate about this and I think he actually did dunk ias freethrows and he doesnt. Please give me your opinions, facts that uve heard, or sources.
I would greatly appreciate a link or video or 2 so I can show him.

I know in the Big 12 they use Wilson basketballs and in the ACC they use Nike balls. During the NCAA tournament how do they determine which brand of basketball to use?
