Fact: Getting Nash and losing Marbury was there only major roster difference.

Fact: They won 35 more games and pushed San Antonio in the Western Finals.

Fact: For those who use defense as an excuse. The runner ups in his MVP years were Shaq, ( who was no longer the shot blocker he once was, and THE WORST PICK AND ROLL DEFENDER IN THE GAME) as well as LeBron who has always been merely an average defender who gambles too much

There are now some people who resent whites in the NBA just as much as some people resented blacks many years ago. I say racism is racism no matter what color you are. Real basketball fans know Nash's skill and value to his team.

I agree Nash has mad skillz and brings them every night that he isn't injured...the real reason they haven't won a championship yet since nash has been in phoenix is he is usually not in the best condition coming into the playoffs he gives up his body night in and night out too be the best team in the nba and by the time the playoffs hit his body is just worn down..injuries take there toll and they just can't win....the reason they have that great record is he makes them win night in and night out, he does the things that need to be done, he is the truest form of a general on the court, we haven't really seen a truer form of point guard in the time that I have been alive...and I am not great at the past history on the nba before 1976 so I am putting my money on he is the best true nba point guard in the history of the NBA! Thats my 2 cents...

It is Allen Iverson averaged 33.0 points per game with 7.4 assist and steve nash averaged 10.4 assist with 18.8 points and they can't give A.I. the MVP. Another example Lebron James 6.6 assist and 31.4 points. 1 more example Kobe Bryant averaged 35.4 points with 5.6 assist but they give it to Steve Nash and don't forget all but one of the players l mentioned took there team to the playoffs with little to none supporting cast. But im going to act like the Dennis Green of basketball, "Steve Nash is who we though he was, if you want to crown him but he is who we though he was."

It will be Nash or Nowitski. It's not a racist thing! There are just playing the best this year. Kobe is in the running too.

I agree with Richard. Only real fans know what the value of Nash is.

well i personally think nash is overrated. I mean the only reason his team lost was because all their plays center him. barbosa isn't the guard nash is. he s good but not as good as everyone thinks.

thats my 5 cents
