Not likely. Dirk has a much better shot, and made an instant impact in the NBA. Bargnani has just been "okay."

Andrea Bargnani has a great future & it can be seen there is a lot of potential in his game. He started slowly this year but lately he has shown he has great versatility, a solid shot, and some feistiness. I think with some strength training & more experience, he will get close to Dirk Nowitzki but won't surpass him based on the reports he's not too focused on basketball & believes it's not his whole life.

For me, Bargnani has the potential but . . . look at Dirk, he has a better body than Bargnani. In my opinion, he won't surpass Dirk's success. But with Brian Colangelo doing the managerial chores for Toronto, Bargnani might develop into one of NBA's greatest foreign players.

nope, Dirk Nowitzki is too good, he is a better all- around player and has a great jumpshot. Bargnani will get close but will not be better.

It's way to early to tell.
First, Bargnani is in his first year. He may run into the sophomore slump, for all we know.
Secondly, Dirk hasn't peaked. He has a way to go.

I doubt it, it would be quite a feat to end up better than Dirk 'Hasselhoff' Nowitzki
