Dwight Howard will be an innovator of post play in the new era of NBA basketball that is more inclined & favors small ball & quicker forwards & guards. However, in this new era he will not get a change to prove he is in the same leage as a Wilt Chamberlain or Shaquille O'Neal due to the new rules that impededs past post play like the Charles Barkley rule limiting the amount of seconds you can back down a player and the new rules allowing zone defenses, that allows post players to be doubled teamed even before they get the ball.

I'm a fan of Dwight, but I think he's far from being the most dominant player in NBA history. But I think he can be in the top 10, at least.

Unless the NBA removes Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Bill Russell from the history of the association, Dwight Howard isn't likely to earn that status.

None will probable have a "breakout" season this twelve months. the only 2 who've a raffle are Horford and Lopez is my opinion. Oden is in simple terms too a techniques in the back of offensively and needs some extra years to sense gentle. Horford is extra of a PF yet they play small. super stat stuffer. Brook Lopez had an dazzling rookie twelve months, is the dominant huge guy in NJ and could want a super season. no person will come to Dwight standards.. Okafor could have a super season additionally... Bynum, Nene and Jefferson have had breakout seasons IMO. East-Dwight, Horford yet Shaq gets it probable. West-Bynum and Nene

No.. surely it will be shaq.. even if he has more agility and quickness than shaq, shaq is still stronger and taller than dwight. he has a big chance of becoming one of the most dominant post players but not the most. aand also as you may have observed dwight finds a hard time carrying his own team but shaw during his younger days was able to carry his team even up to now. even if he is quite old.

Most dominant of his time. Yes, he very well could be the next Shaq like player. I highly doubt anyone will ever be as individually dominant as Wilt Chamberlin.

He's got a pretty good chance.
He's only in his 3rd season and already as good as Ben Wallace and Shaq. He's also got agility as a bonus (unlike the chubby Shaq).
I'd say he's the next Hall of Famed Center (even though he's a PF)

He still needs to work on his post moves. Right now he's like Stoudamire, he uses athletic ability. When he gets a consistent post move (like Duncan or Shaq) and remains at that level for a few years, then yeah.

no, because he will never be mentioned in the same class as wilt, but he could be very good, but who knows, if he drops 101 in a single game, and hase a 50ppg season and scoring over 4,000 pts In one season like wilt, he will surely be noted as the most dominate of all time. lol.
