Personally, I miss "NBA on NBC." It had a classic theme song and better coverage overall.

"NBA on ABC" now has the Pussy Cat Dolls doing its theme song. Yes, they're easy on the eyes, but they're brutal on the ears. I can't believe they're doing the music for the NBA. What's up with that?!

I coach an all girl's youth basketball team. My problem is that I'm running out of music to play to them before games to help them relax. I can't get them to calm down to actually listen to what I have to say, and they're just going wild before each game. I played to them these Japanese slow songs such as Yume no Uta/ Futari de... by Koda Kumi or Heaven by Ayumi Hamasaki. They seemed to respond to the music very well so I was wondering what other songs are similar to these. I only want Japanese for now since that
is working really well. Any music in the J - Pop genre would be great from female artists such as Utada Hikaru, etc., would be great.

i've argued with my cousin over the past hour over this. he says there's no difference between the divisions because you can find a d-2 player whose better than a d-1 and is only playing d-1 because of grades or etc. i agree with him, but at the same time i'm sayin that a d-1 school is gon have more talent then a d-2 school, its d-1 for a reason! does anyone agree?

I think they will. 8 and 8 record in a tough Big Ten confrence. They blew out Michigan St and led almost all the way in the Ohio St game. If they do good in the Big Ten Tournament i think they are in.

I need to re-phrase my former question. The Pacers lost an NBA Title opportunity due to that brawl. Unruly fans that were upset that their team was not only losing, but getting their butts kicked badly..started behaving badly. I agree that Artest should have been suspended but the punishment didn't fit the crime. It cost the Pacers a Title opportunity. Artest was the best defender in the league that year, the Pacers were Number one in the east up until that game, by several games I might add. They hadn't even lost double digit games yet. So, we know the Pacers should have been in the title game.. the Lakers weren't even a blip that year. So, how many fewer games should Artest have been suspended? Should he at least have been allowed to play in the playoffs? Since the suspension happened in the regular season that would have seemed fair to me. 10 games? 15, 20? What do you think.

I dont think he's the best in college basketball he is the best shooter and in my top 5 for player of they year (depending of course on how far he can take Tennessee in the SEC tourney and in the NCAA's) but I'm not sure that he would go even in the second round of the draft just because hes kind of a chemistry player right now and not necessarily all the way developed. He's a junior and us Tennessee fans would love to have him back. You think he will stay?


Now to Candace Parker...shes great...in my top two for player of the year I'm just not sure where to put her exactly at the moment. Like last night against LSU she had 4 points and in that way being a sophmre shows through cause of an air of inexperience..even though not a big one.. What about her do you think she will stay??
