why do you have to practice shooting from halfcourt and beyond? its not like you're gonna get to shoot those in the flow of the game. try practicing those skills that will make u an effective player,not those desperation type heaves from halfcourt. im sure your coach would not be happy with you practicing those

Try a run up and when u take ur shot make shore that ur toes r pointin towards the basket .Take a single handed shot and keep ur feet apart but not one in front of the other.The movement should go from ur knees to ur arm to ur elbows and finally through ur wrist .that should get it.

halfway line? you mean halfcourt? if you make it from there you're fine. but if you mean throwing it to touch it. just use your upper arm strength. bench press and lift weights.
