Carmelo; he scores the most.

Kobe, no doubt. The only reason he is currently number 2 in scoring and not number 1 is because in the first 15 or so games, he was playing without full recovery from his leg injury, averaging like 19 ppg. Since then, he has been scoring like 34 ppg. It is just that his injury slowed him down since then, and it averages out to be 29 ppg. Just wait, and he will easily be scoring champion again. Almost all his games lately have been 30+ ppg. Carmelo Anthony is really inconsistant, so I know he will be the one with 28 ppg by the end of the season. Number two is Allen Iverson, man. Why isn't he up there? How is Lebron a better scorer than Allen Iverson? Carmelo Anthony only scores 2 more points per game than AI because he takes 6 more shots per game (more of a ball hog and AI is a good assister, too). I am sure that if AI took 6 more shots, he would make more than 1 of them, and if he assisted less, he would have like 32 ppg. Kobe, AI, Melo, Wade, Gilbert, Lebron.

Kobe Bryant is the best offensive player. He is the most talented player in the nba right now. He can score in so many ways & is basically unstoppable when he chooses to be. He has also proven he can put up points when he decides to (this is all Arenas does) & now he has learned when to score, which is the most important skill Michael Jordan had. Most importantly, he has proven he can be a cold blooded assassin unlike Lebron James & come up with the big shot. Whose hands do you want to give the ball to when you need a winning shot in the last play of the game? Kobe! I admit Dwayne Wade is a close 2nd but he still needs to solidify his three point shooting. Also, I just can't see Carmelo Anthony as an unstoppable force & can takeover a game.

At this absolute second in time the answer would have to be Lebron.
Here's why

Kobe is beginning to get a big head in L.A and is no longer playing like he did earlier this season

Wade is battling injuries and trying to get healthy for the playoffs

Melo has had a tough year, turmoil between him and his coach, a 15 game suspension for fighting and the addition of fellow ballhog Allen Iverson makes him not as good as he once was.

Gilbert has surprised us all and is truly had one of the most fantastic seasons a young player could ask for but simply will never be as legendary as Lebron. Gilbert would be my second choice though.

Lebron. He has showed that he can handle the insane pressure, the stresses of the NBA, He has superior athletic ability and put a struggling franchise on his back and expects nothing less than a cleveland championship.

Lebron hands down!
Great Question

None. Nash is. He is averaging 18 points and 12 assists (leads to at least 30 points including 3s and fouls) which means that that is 48 points right there. Kobe is averaging 26 or so and 5 assists which means he contributes about 40 points max

Kobe... remember just a year ago he scored the second highest point 81.. and earlier this season, he got injured so wasn't able to play his game well... but since then he's been putting pretty good numbers... and that put him on the list of top 5 scoring average per game...

Kobe is the most talented, Wade is the smartest and most efficient, LeBron is the most unstoppable, Gilbert is the Hibachi!

I am personally a Carmelo Anthoney fan but he is struggleing and I'm gonna have to go with Kobe....he is on fire!! He is almost always the high scorer in EVERY game he plays in....and if the Lakers get Kidd....ohh man....yall betta watch out.....I am still hopin for Melo and Iverson to get it together and get em' a championship though!!

When a guy can score about 12 points in the last thirty seconds of a game and make his team win by one, that's the best offensive player in the game. T-Mac.

None of the above: Amare Stoudamire should be the best offensive player in this season. He is a monster in the paint and can shoot as well!
