I know in the Big 12 they use Wilson basketballs and in the ACC they use Nike balls. During the NCAA tournament how do they determine which brand of basketball to use?

Willson is the offical ball used in College Basketball.

The Willson BB is used only in the official BB Tournaments. Each school determines what brand they will use at home throughout the season. Therefore players may use a plethora of different types. i.e. some school,s use Addidas branded balls, Nike, etc. as well as the Wilson. The new UnderArmor balls are the worst, but are being adopted by many schools as they change to those uniforms.
