I break a team down into three main categories: Offense, Defense, and Pitching.

It seems like the offense is doing well, but what area do you think is cause for the poor performance so far?

They are so far ahead of everyone else trying to drop into second place, we have really made a GREAT team and have what it takes this year to go all the way, what's your take on the red sox?

What would be the city/region you would most want represented? For fun, feel free to mention names & which league (AL vs. NL) too or even expansion teams for other sports (NHL, NBA, NFL, MLS, etc...)

I was thinking a New England team would be interesting. Only problem is the NL-east & AL-east already have five teams. A Portland, Oregan team might help add to the four team AL-west.

If not, will they get the wild card?

Yanks could pay MLB to play the Mets more often, etc.
Each team would make decisions on who to play to gather best crowds, but would need to balance this to make the playoffs. Some solution would be needed to for small market teams, that is, use the fees as a pool.

There was one per pack. I think it was 1994, 95, or 96, Upper Deck Collector's Choice. I got nostalgic about it and I can't figure out what they were!

I'm going with the Chicago Cubs, with the Milwaukee Brewers a close 2nd. Most people like the cubs just because they are a classic team with a classic stadium, they always have fairly big name players, but always suck. Most of the Brewers fans I've seen are just drunkards that don't know ****. They don't come to the game to see baseball, they just come because they have a sweet stadium, and a good place to tailgate. I've found this true of Football too. Packer fans and bear fans are just loud and obnoxious, but they don't seem to have any idea what they are talking about.

I would like to see MLB do away with the DH and stop seperating the AL/NL like they do. They should do it like every other sport....same rules both conferences and have the AL/NL have regular schedules against each oher. I dont see why a team needs to play each other 20 times in one season! What are the fans thoughts?
Please dont say its been like that for a long time so why change it because everything changes! Change is not always bad!

I love baseball but sometimes it's so boring. No one wants to see a 1-0 game that lasts 3 hours. So what can be done to speed up the game but at the same time there's a lot more offense?

When a pithcer throws to first and has the runner in a pickle what is the proper positioning of the infielders.
This happens a lot on our team because our ptcher has a good move to first but then our players get confused as to where to be and throw.Links if possible
