I know they won them in 1903, 1912, 1915, 1916, 1918, and 2004. But what was the date?

The situation would be a ball hit to first (3), thrown home to the catcher (2), then back to first where the pitcher is covering (1). Of course there would be less then 2 outs and the bases would be loaded. It seems like it would happen but the pitcher in an attempt to cover first might get in the way of the throw. If you can post a link of a box score that would be great, thanks. In all my years, I have never seen this happen.

I saw this happen in my league and was amazed that this would happen. It seems like a conflict of intrest. One of the parents told me that they thought it was ok and that there wasn't any violation. I have tried to look up the rule but can't find it. Can anyone help me understand why this would and could happen? Thanks

Is it just a split finger fastball or does it include other pitches.

With all due respect to his career, this guy has, what, two maybe three brain cells. Henderson trying to complete a simple sentence is like, well, I don't know what it would be like. He's never done it!!! In his particular case would it be better if someone actually gave it for him? I'm not trying to be funny (except for the three brain cell comment. I'm sure he has at least 10 or 12). This could be a real issue one day. What's your thoughts?

I am also interested in how salaries compare between college seniors who are drafted and those who (1) did not go to college, or (2) were drafted before they graduated. Thank you very much.

I can't belive that the Yankees have to get this midwestern rookie and that the Mets blew the sweep. They just coudl not hit anything that kid threw. unbelivable. I was so counting on a sweep. It wasn't half as good of a game as the two previous ones.

My son, a first time little league player, participated in a game where the parent for the opposing team was dropping the ball into the pitching machine before our defense was ready. Once it was hit to left field before our left fielder had gotten into position and had his back turned to the play. Besides dangerous, it was unsportsmanlike like. Is there any national rule prohibiting that? Our local rules doesn't mention this type of incident. Thank you. I talked to the parent after the game and he said it was our fault if we weren't ready. He was very defensive.

and the runner on third tags up but the runner on first does not. The batter is out on the catch and the runner is out at first due to him not tagging up thus ending the inning, but the runner on third crossed home plate before the the out at first. Does this run count or not?

Before Lou Brock and the Free Agent, MLB players, for the most part, played for the same team for their career. Teams got better by having a good farm system. Is it more fun for the fans today with the player movement from team-to-team or was it better for the fans of baseball to have the same players on their team from year-to-year? Best answer will be given to the best argument either way
