The coment below might be a little extreme but I know some waranties are void if you use it below 60.

1) Never leave any bat, especially a composite bat, in cold weather for an extended period of time. Cold weather is very bad on composites. So make sure when you get home you take it with you into your warm house. Never hit a composite bat in weather below 65 degrees or it will have a greater chance of breaking.

The nice thing about composite bats is that you can use them at any degree outside, that is why they are so popular and have replaced aluminum bats. A composite bat is not as sensitive to the weather, it has more to do with the ball. I have been using a composite bat for 5 years now and have used it in everything from 30 degree weather to 102 degree with the same feeling in contact. The ball on the other hand will not go as far when it is cold.
