I'm going with the Chicago Cubs, with the Milwaukee Brewers a close 2nd. Most people like the cubs just because they are a classic team with a classic stadium, they always have fairly big name players, but always suck. Most of the Brewers fans I've seen are just drunkards that don't know ****. They don't come to the game to see baseball, they just come because they have a sweet stadium, and a good place to tailgate. I've found this true of Football too. Packer fans and bear fans are just loud and obnoxious, but they don't seem to have any idea what they are talking about.

I didn't mention the Yankee's fans simply because they are arrogant, a$$holes who don't diserve a good team, but that doesn't necessarily make them dumb or unknowledgeable about the game it self.

Some of you people are really ignorant.
I have been to Kansas City-I have been to Florida for severla baseball games.
Hate to break it to the idiot above but Kauffman Stadium in K.C. is one of the most spectacular stadiums in the majors---and I have seen my share. It is not junk--it's immaculate inside and out.
K.C. Fans love baseball--and in Florida baseball is a way of life YEAR ROUND. B These people who go watch the D-Rays, the Royals and the Marlins know the history of the game. Friendly passionate people. I show up with an Indians jersey on and they TALK BASEBALL.
Now it's New York and Boston fans who post ridiculous statements in here that make them look the least intelligent?
For Example:
1. Will Boston win 117 Games This year?
2. NYY are the best because Jeter is hot.
3. Redsox are my favorite team but what does HR in the box score mean, I see that alot?
4. Josh Beckett will go 20-0 this year, guaranteed.
5. The Yankees are the best team because their players have the most rings!
If those are not examples of baseball stupidity, what is? And when they say a player sucks, it really is them who suck. If someone can hit a 99 MPH fastball--or throw a 92 MPH Fastball and YOU CANNOT---maybe you suck, think about it. Out.

Its by far the Marlins fans. They don't support the team even when they win. They were a good team last year and most games failed to draw 10,000 fans. In a city that big that is rediculous. They don't care about the team which is why they still play in that dump that wasn't ever meant for baseball. This is to defend the Royals fans from the guy above...there is no need to replace Kaufman Stadium. Have you ever been to a game there?? Its one of the best places in the country to see a game. I'd much rather take the interstate out there than try to fight through the mess that is downtown. The Chiefs don't seem to have a problem drawing fans out there. If the owner would invest some money and field a winner the people would show up. When they were winning a few years ago the stadium was packed all summer. Its a good baseball town waiting for an owner who has what it takes to win. In Miami, its a fan base that doesn't care regradless of performance. That is why they have to gut the team every few years when the salaries get too high. Baseball in South Florida is a sad thing...

I'd say that the team with the dumbest fans is whichever team you root for, because that was the dumbest question I've ever heard. Oh, and to the person who said the Yankees should be feeding the homeless instead of paying their players: where do you think they get that money? How many baseball games have you been to? How much MLB product do you own? Next time you want to go to a game or buy a hat with your crappy teams logo on it, why don't you buy a homeless person a hamburger instead you hypocrite.

i am a cubs fan. but not all cubs fans are stupid drunks. those are more the college guys that spend time in the bleachers. everywhere else in Wrigley is a very respectable atmosphere. although i will give it to you that cubs fans can turn on any given player in a matter of minutes.. i.e (Sammy Sosa, Latroy Hawkins, Ryan Dempster)
White Sox fans are worse. they did happen to jump onto the field and attack the Royals 1st base coach a few years ago.
But i would say Red Sox fans are the worse. ive seen too many highlights of beer being poured onto visiting outfielders to hold 'the Red Sox Nation' in high regard

Simply put - Chicago Cubs. I went to Wrigley yesterday for the Cubs - Sox game - and the guys sitting next to me spent the whole game thinking Darryl Ward was Derrick Lee.

Cubs fans are idiots. They have no clue. They just go to get wasted. They could throw out me, my 3 uncles, my dad and a buncha my friends, and they would still fill the stadium every single game.

I am surprised there hasn't been a mention of the Dodgers. The fans show up late, leave early, and many are just there to enjoy the weather and to be seen. They do have some great fans, but they are few and far between.

Least intelligent have to be the Cubs, and for most intelligent i would say Boston. I am a die hard Cards fan so i may be a bit bias against the cubs....although their fans are pretty stupid.

Probably Florida or Tampa Bay. I don't sense there is a lot of baseball savvy there. You can probably lump the LA teams in there too.

If I had to pick one, Tampa.

The NYY fans annoy the **** out of me, but a lot of their fans are knowledgable about the game. Even though a lot just ride the bandwagon.
