I would like to see MLB do away with the DH and stop seperating the AL/NL like they do. They should do it like every other sport....same rules both conferences and have the AL/NL have regular schedules against each oher. I dont see why a team needs to play each other 20 times in one season! What are the fans thoughts?
Please dont say its been like that for a long time so why change it because everything changes! Change is not always bad!

Chipmaker if you would read the question and comprehend it you can save your self alot of embarrasment. It says the MLB should have 2 conferences like other sports not MLB's 2 conferences shoud merge. I just find it stupid that the MLB has different rules for the AL/NL.

I do not think that the MLB should do away with the leagues. Since the World Series is between the best of each league, I think its better to keep the leagues, especially since each league has 3 divisions. However, I would like to see an end of said divisions. As a Mets' fan I hate seeing the Braves, Marlins, Phillies and Nats 18 times a year. I would like to see other teams in the NL more than 6 times a year. Bring back a more balanced league schedule.

It just makes for a better world series since possibly the 2 teams havent played eachother during the season or maybe only in a 3 game series during interleague play. There are alot of interleague rivals that would be nice to see happen more then just once a season (Chicagos, NewYorks)

Yea I would as a Giants fan Im tired of going to games against the same teams every year I would like to see Boston or New York, so I would definetely like more interleague.
The only problem with eliminating the Dh are players like David Ortiz and Travis Hafner, what are they going to do? All AL teams would essentially lose a player so they would complain a lot about that.

HELL YES.more interesting it the AL/NL barrier is broken.i mean it gets boring when teams have to play each other a gazillion time.it should b like the NBA where eastern conference and western conference play each otther through out the season.

Jackie Robinson in the MLB and Larry Doby in the AL have been the 1st black gamers to be formally acknowledged as having broken the ban on blacks and by potential of extension all othe minority communities in the year 1947.

By claiming baseball "...should do it like every other sport...", you have no legitimacy for your position. That's just about the WORST reason possible to claim for changing something -- conform, submit, reduce, imitate. Feh. And MLB does not have "conferences". Go back to your slavish fandom for the lesser sports, mendicant.
