Sorry but I'm not a huge fan of Jr. and I jokingly said to my friend (who is a HUGE Jr. fan) that Jr. was going to crash. Although it wasn't his fault, he did crash. I couldn't help but be a bit freaked out from my premonition!

Why are drivers penalized for going below the line during a race?
I heard it was because of the horrible accidents...is this the reason?
I also heard that Nascar also enforces (or will enforce) this rule at Daytona...is this true?

Okay, who was happy with the outcome of the race? It was an exciting finish, I was happy that my driver (No.29, Kevin Harvick) managed to finish sixth. I'm sure all the Dale and Jimmy fans are still upset, how about it?

I'm so tired of it! Dale has all these delusional fans who adore his every move, even though he usually does poorly each race. I know he's won some Busch Series Championships, but really...big deal! He hasn't won any Nextel Cup racing, so he's not very impressive to me. Now, I don't hate the man...I'm just stating some facts. Compared to many other drivers, he's just NOT as good. Why does everybody adore him oh-so-much? He probably is a nice person and all that stuff, but his racing career is pretty bad. Thoughts?

In the interestes of people who like NASCAR to stop having to troll through questions related to other types of motor sport, who would like to see a category for NASCAR and a category for all other types of motor sport?
After this is finished, I will take the results and place them on the Help and Suggestion Board. Not many people go there, so starting a thread in that board before getting support, one way or the other, would be easiest. The board is here

Jr has 5 wins the most of any active driver and 2nd all time winner of Talladega, his father on the other hand has 10 wins and is of course 1st on the all time winning list for Talladega. We all know today should have been Jr's 6th win at Talladega, but little douchbag Vickers destroyed that. I hope Vickers gets really bad karma just like Stewart did.

Everyone seems to want to jump onto Brian Vickers' case about how he won the race. A few out there have made ridiculous comments about how it was planned so that Jr. couldn't win the race.

There are three parts to this question, and it won't go to the voters who gets best answer, because when the question closes, I am picking it myself.

The first part is who here has actual knowledge about how NASCAR racing really works? I learned from people who actually race short track, and who have extensive vehicle knowledge. I also have a stepbrother who worked for teams in the Truck and Busch Series.

The second part is who thinks that intentionally wrecking really works? Each car costs a lot of money, and it is a very dangerous tactic that endangers not only the ones who actually get wrecked, but the one who causes it too.

Now, answering the first two parts, I want to know how (with real reason, being a Jr or JJ fan doesn't count) everyone can be so quick to condemn Brian Vickers.
