I thought vickers pushed it, a little too hard, I like Jr, but I am a huge Kennseth fan, so it gave him a better finish...I just think Vickers need to stop blaming others for the crash and take the blame, he did it, it was nascar legal, but HE did it and should accept that fact and not blame others.......

Welp..as a Junior fan I was and still am crushed by what happened. Junior was on his way to getting his 2nd win of the season and if he had won he would have left Talladega as the points leader.
However...Jr showed just how classy he is by not blaming Vickers for what happened. Junior didn't blame anyone, he didn't point the finger at anyone he just chalked it up to a racing inccident.
Too bad I can't say the same for Vickers, Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon who were quick to place the blame on someone esel.

I am a Dale Jr fan so of course I was not happy he didn't win when it sure seemed like he had it. But that is part of racing; Vickers made a stupid move and took out two cup contenders in the process...he sure was hungry for that first win. He isn't making any friends that is for sure; at least not with Gordon and Johnson. On to Charlotte..........

You guys are ******* crazy!!! If that would have been Dale Jr. instead of Vickers, he would have been black flagged. Then for Vickers to blame it on JR in the post race interview?????? It is unreal!!!!!!!!!!!! I was upset when it happened, before the interview, after the interview and still steaming mad at Vickers for being such a punk that it took 107 races to get in the position to wreck a couple of GOOD drivers to get a win. What a chump, it is no wonder he is going to another team next year. I am still so mad...

I guess i am satisfied with the outcome. I was mad at Brian Vickers, but when i saw how calm dale jr, was during the after race interview i was ok. I still feel bad for Jimmie Johnson and Dale Jr.

I am a Jr fan, and I was at first furious at Vickers, I was however calmed by the way Jr took it, he was like thats racing at Talladega. So that made me feel better but I sure wish he could have done better.

i was slightly bummed about the finish, but upon closer expection okay with it all. no one would be making a big stink about it all if it was not the leaders on the last lap but whatever. what i don't understand is how it was only vickers fault for what happened. i think all three played a part in it. it will be interesting to watch inside nextel cup to see what everyone has to say.
it was funny how jimmy spencer was standing up for vickers on victory lane while he was pointing the finger at vickers for about 3 weeks prior. how fickle can you be?
the crash didn't help smoke out any, he was involved in one earlier. so....
it was 'dage ... minus a big one!

I so wanted Jr. to win and was cheering him on; but the finish WAS exciting and brought me to the edge my seat to see who the winner was going to be. So, no, I'm not upset. As long as they are racing, I'm a happy girl!
