I think that Mr. Vickers lost ANY fan base he may have had after that "racin' deal". I loved seein' the ole 48 get taken out (a just as whiny clone of Gordo) but I was sorry to see Junior get taken out but he didn't seem all that upset. I love Talladega. It's a fun race!

Ford 400 is in Homestead the last week of the season.

The UAW-Ford 500 had a good finish, too bad that Johnson ran out of talent and wrecked himself and Jr. by driving back up the track and slowing down, while Vickers was coming down the track faster than he was. But it's racing, and stuff like that happens.

I agree Vickers has lost any fan base for the future. Dale Jr fans runs the show. I hope Hendrick dismisses Vickers this week.
I feel like what Vickers did was exactly what the drivers were warned about in the drivers meeting and Nascar sat on their hands on this one.

I don't think it was on purpose, but it did bring Martin to within 10 points of the lead! Go 6!

i did not like it because my favorite driver of all time Jeff Gordon got caught in the "BIG ONE" and he is now 7th and -147 points out of 1st place and hopefully he will pull out of it! and i also did not like when Brian Vickers wrecked Jimmie Johnson and Little E! Just to win his 1st race before he left Hendrick Motorsports!

that totally sucked! i was hoping for a win for jr. and vickers totally messed it up... he was so eager to finally get a win that he took out two guys who are chasing for the cup and cost them some much needed points at this stage. he deserved to get booed by the crowd and i hope he's ashamed of his actions... i have to say hats off to jr. for handling it so well, i don't think i would have been able to bottle my emotions so well.

I thought it totally sucked!!! I am a huge Jimmie fan and can't believe that his teammate would take him out just so that he (Brian) could get his first win. Junior and Jimmie had really good cars and can't believe that they ended up going from having a great finish to totally sucking!!

I don't think Vickers meant any harm. He was trying to help a teammate, but lacked the experience to actually help. He should get some more experience before trying to help.

It was wrong! Yes it was "just racin'" but there is also good sportsmanship and Vickers didn't have any that day.
