"he got in too deep, and ran out of talent"
It's a famous quote from Harvick a few years ago, but it applies here as well.
Vickers only other win in the all-star race was won the same way a few years ago, so I'm not convinced this was an accident?
Taking JJ out was fun, but no need to take Jr. out too, and then try to blame it on Jr. in some weak a$$ed explanation after wards.
I never really hated Vickers, HMS yes, but he was always more of a joke to me and my Dad before today. We hate him now, too bad he's leaving HMS, he's finally acting like the rest of the team.

First off the idiot was Jimmie Johnsons spotter.Vickers was pushing Johnson and the "side draft" losened Johnson that is when the touch took place. If you follow the history of the 25 Hendricks car it is just a pawn in the Hendricks stable. It is the first to be retired to pad points,it has the least amount of funds. This is not the primary vehicle for this team so if they do good then everyone puts them down.
Then add the fact that Vickers is leaving the team empty minds will automaticly blame him for the wreck.
As for the dedication Vickers was a personal friend of Ricky Hendricks so it was not a false dedication.
As for Jimmie Johnson,he is just like his mentor Gordon, blame everybody so no one is mad at you,and he did it masterfully in front of the cameras.

I was really pulling for Junior to win and was on pins and needles the last few laps. The thing that bothers me is that Junior appeared to have a car that could pull away from them and maintain a good car length lead even though Vickers was pushing Johnson. I can't help but think that Junior put himself in jeopardy by slowing just enough to try to block the other two. He should have seen it coming and trusted the strength and speed of his car. He could have gone to the bottom going into the last corner taking the short way around. That would have left Johnson and Vickers on the top through the corner where Vickers wouldn't be able to push Johnson. I think Junior would have been able to come back up the track exiting the corner still in front of the other two. It is likely that Vickers would have tried to pass Johnson as they exited the corner and both would have lost the advantage of the draft between them, but it would have been too late because Junior would have had at least a car length lead. I'm guessing that Junior will take this lesson to heart.
I agree with you on the lame "Ricky" dedication.

Well, yes it ruined the day for Jr. and J.J. thats what made it such an idiot move. And the end result he wins the race through no merrit of his own while Jr. and Johnson finish the race in the twenties. Sounds like Vickers was trying to make some kind of bull-headed statement that reguardless of his leaving HMS next year he was going to win at any cost. Even if it meant taking out a fellow teammate.

Johnson fans are really mad @ Brian, he is a teammate-he is leaving next year but he still drives the 25 car-and friend of Jimmie-after today not so sure-.
I don't think it was a fake dedication to Ricky specially, because Brian & Ricky were so close.
I like Brian, after the race I was mad @ him but now I feel, like he had to do it for this.
Jr. & Johnson were the victims, today as others would have been, is just the fact that Jimmie & Brian are in HMS & that Brian is leaving.

Brian IS an idiot & I can't believe that there was no penalty. I really dislike Vickers now. I'm sure that most Jr. & Johnson fans dislike Vickers after what he did.

As much as I wanted to see Jr. win, as much as I wanted to see Gorden in the garage, I am amazed at how Jr. reacted, and how much hate Johnson has for Vickers. From what I could hear on the TV, the fans are not any more happy with Vickers. I hope he failes with his Toyota, for nothing more than bringing Jap sh!t in to Nascar

I don't know about a fake dedication or not, I heard they were close friends, but to blame the whole accident on Jr who had done absolutely nothing wrong (confirmed by J.J. in his interview)
was just poor sportsmanship! He showed how inexperienced and outright greedy he is! Well I guess that sounds like a true HMS driver, even if he is leaving. All said and done though you have to admit "that's racing`"

Burke probable feels vindicated that the hockey team he placed on the ice in basic terms went out and challenged the excellent hockey team in the international for 3+ classes. and not in basic terms the excellent hockey team ideal now, somewhat probable the excellent hockey team because of the fact the Soviet purple military days. on a similar time as he's mourning the shortcoming of his son, he has to experience satisfaction for the overall performance of the U.S. And Sochi is yet 4 years away. This team can in basic terms get extra beneficial.

Jimmie Johnson is my favorite so obviouly I'm biased.
But to be fair... I really don't think he did it on purpose... it just sucks that the one time he had to mess up during 500 miles, was on the last lap.
