No. Brian Vickers should not have been black flagged. Having said that, I think everyone who saw the replay could tell it was a mistake on his part. Brian got over anxious in bumping Johnson forward. Instead of letting the two cars do the work (which would have resulted in an easy pass for both of them), he got into the gas and into Johnson. NASCAR viewed it that way and I have to agree them. (grumble grumble I can't believe I just said that.)
Jimmy Johnson was right (I can't believe I just said that either) when he said BV "just ran out of talent". Come on Rick (Hendricks) kick him to the curb already.

Vickers made a very stupid move but that is racing. I am a Dale Jr fan and I was pretty upset when it happened; I didn't realize Vickers had hooked Johnson and thought it was Johnson's fault. But then it would not have made sense for him to have done that and taken the chance of wrecking himself and Jr....both are cup contenders. I am sure Johnson would have rather had a 2nd place finish than what he would up with for the day. Vickers is NOT making friends that is for sure; least of all Jimmy Johnson right now. But that is racing and even though I really feel in my heart of hears that Jr should have won that race it just didn't work out that way and now it is on to the next race.

No, there is no reason for black flagging Brian Vickers. That would be telling the drivers that you cannot attempt to pass for the win. What Brian did was purely an accident. There is no way that Brian could have known that Jimmie wasn't going to fly by Dale Jr. It looked to me like Jimmie hit a pocket of air and with Brian coming up so fast to help push Jimmie to the front, they touched. That turned Jimmie into Dale Jr, which of course took them both out.
I don't know how one can be penalized for aggressive driving when the object is to attempt to win a race.

Kasey Kahne shouldn't of won if they wouldve black flagged Vickers, the win should of went to Earnhardt Jr or Jimmie Johnson not Kahne....Kahne's just lucky that he crashed out Johnson and Junior or else instead of second he would of finished 4th...i hate Hendrick Motor Sports so much man what a bunch of whiny assed bitches

No but he shouldnt have been so determined to go, knowing that something bad would probably happen. He doesnt even really care about Jimmy Johnson either, since Vickers is on the outs with Hendrick motorsports. I think he just said he didnt mean to because he was trying to APPEAR nice.

No. There are 43 cars in a race and any of them can race and win.The fact that Vickers was involved everyone is pointing fingers at him.Let's change a little if Gordon,Johnson,Earnhardt or Harvick had been in the same spot (3rd) and this had happened the comment would be"it's just racing"
So let us look forward to the next race and see what happens and see who wins the chase.

While I would have liked to see Kasey Kahne win, I don't think Vickers should have been black flagged. I don't think he did it on purpose.

No.
He made the correct call in that situation. Form a two car draft to pass the #8. If it had worked we would be saying how Vickers HELPED to bump draft Jimmy Johnson to victory. The Plate were the problem. the #48 lacked the HP to over take quickly. Another .0009Sec and the angle changes & there is no wreck.
You just have sour grapes beacuse The # 8 lost. I had Jeff Gordon in my fantasy game yesterday. Yet You don't see me crying about that wreck?

No. And Kasey Kahne shouldn't be "given" anything. He needs to earn it. There doesn't seem to be any problem on that score either. He's a good driver and one to keep an eye on.
I was upset about Jr. getting wrecked, but, hey, that's racing.
