I'm asking specifically about rail drag cars (the long ones). The large engine should be lifting the front wheels off the ground and right over the car but they don't seem to.

What is the physics involved in this? DO NOT give me an answer about aerodynamics, I'm talking about before the car gets up to speed.

It is a 351M extra modified for about 410 Hp. Its a Ford Ranger, but about the same size as the F150 of that time. The truck left a Mustang "in the dust" (car got a head start too) and at 70 m.p.h the truck threw your head back as you stepped on the accelerator

Why do the long rail drag cars not flip over given that they don't have wheelie bars and that the engine is pretty powerful?

(ps. I know racers often flip down the track but rarely, if ever, do it on the line)
